It is pluck in, you hv to careful use a steel feeler to slide into the gap and prick it up, all these are plastic fit in type. -

the above dislodged from the back part of the adjuster (from the photo below) during normal adjustment, it kind of jammed and when u try to apply a little more force back to normal position, it came loose

Can't glue back, the lever is broke and you can't adjust up & down. You need to buy a new aircon vent to fit it.
