wait until confirm from taxi co. everybody know sure will increase sooner or later, no need to be genious to know this. every few year will auto increase a bit. I oso can anyhow say got increase, then when increase can say, see i tell you liao, now you belive me? make myself like very smart and clever, want people say me good. knn lah where got time? but some people here likes to do this -----shiok liao! Sia suay lah I say.

TD is the mid of any hamburgers, top exploited you with grease and cheese, below whack you up with mayonasie and mustard.
In a normal situation, pax perspective on a taxi is alway the taxi drivers, no taxi, TD koon, TD lazy, TD keng peak hours, surcharges and so on. There will never be a situation of no taxi, govt fault, taxi companies fault, that is the norm of every pax on the road who cannot get a taxi at their desired time and location, not to mention the services provided by the taxi driver is also consider an important clause in their judgement.
And then again, in a normal situation, LTA will impose rules and regulations on taxi companies, taxi companies will pressure the TD to carry out their job within the expectation of the rules and regulations, and end up, they get more quotas to buy more taxis which is equal to more profit, and more taxis meaning more COE and road tax collection for LTA, which is also the govt.
So, in mid of all these, lies the poor TD who have to
1. satisfy the pax
2. satisfy the taxi companies
3. satisfy the LTA (govt)In any hamburger you eat, guess the best part to eat is the juicy burger, and that is where we are.
Saying is easy. Is it better to just keep quiet?
In real business world, u need to satisfy yr customers, yr suppliers, yr employees and the government regulations. So TD is running a business.

Ultimately the only person you need to satisfy is yourself,, which will then lead (related/in a cycle) to trying to satisfy others. Life is just a simple cycle... Birth, grow old, sickness and death.. It is the enviroment (aka circumstances) or the brain (our own mindset) that is complex. Hence, IMO, as a TD, just drive honestly (to yourself) and the rest will just fall in place.. Cause luck tends to favour the hardworking and honest ppl.

Keeping quiet also end up people saying you very proud..lols In real business world, it is not just about satisfying the customers alone, it is about delighting your customers including all other stake holders, once you can delight yr employees, govt, business partners, unions, your customer and the public at large, you are will win over your competitors who can only satisfy their customer but never delight them. TD is merely a contractor, not entirely a business, a business comprises beside cost of operating, it also comprises of cost of goods and asset, but taxi drivers is just a contractor who, under a contractual agreement, agreed to drive for a company for a certain period of time, cost, benefits and also agreed on disciplinary and regulation requirement stipulated by the co and lta. Once he finished his contract, he can opts to carry on or not to carry on. Therefore, TD is not in a real business, it s only a business to satisfy the customer, no need to delight them. Board, greet, send, collect fare, you do not need to network or give any gift or help them all the way. -

A business model can comprises of opex cost. Business also needs to regulated by the authority. Business is not about setting your own rules and regulation but how you can benefit in the game and make money.
