contract till 31/7/2014. (7 mths left)
Bonus $3000. (given to you)
Take over fees $1500, admin $100. (total $1600)
Rental $82.80/day.Advertisment is $15 per mth. (given to you)
fuel consumption 14km/l (about $0.13 per km, using SPC 92 petrol on POSB daily card 20% discount)
so nett rental is $75.64 (incl GST, aft nett bonus of $1600 and advertisement of $0.50 daily)

no lah. i started off OMO to try out what driving hrs i prefer. I have a regular relief driver of 2 days a week. I think i am not able to fully utilise the cab as a OMO....averaging only 10-12h per day.... I think i am better off as relief for 2 days a week as i have other ventures.
restrictions in 60days relief aside, I give Prime thumbs up aft driving relief for TC and Premier.
Down time for servicing is about 1-1.5h. shortest being 45min! Want more also dont have. not even enough time to finish my kopi!
servicing interval is about 1.5months
forgot to mention....advertisement pays $15 per month.

i assume, to carry on, you need to take out the bonus, put deposit (1500) and carry on driving. new rates or existing rates, im not sure. -

Than last time their contract 5 years, deposit $5k, return $1xxxxx.....
After tahan 5 years, coy did pay them those x amount leh....
Than they happily show me the check....
Than happily carry on drive for them until now leh....

That is part of the benefit, and when they take yr 5k, they invested in their business, what is that 10k at the end of the 5 years, and u hv to tahan somemore, tahan is never define as happy hor. Take Transcab wish, every mth let take an average of $500 benefit, one year 6k, 5 years...36k, what is 10k and having to tahan 5 years with most petrol driven lower powered vehicles?? -

The number of years I spent with CDG, indirectly also like signing a contract without me knowing until the day I decided to stop holding steering again.....
As long we are still holding steering, no different between contract or non-contract....
So today, we got no contract, can throw key, jump ship, but still holding steering what.....
Unless TS telling us, he found a super good lobang, no need to drive taxi anymore....
And tahan is talking about all the TD hor....
Which TD doesn't need to tahan driving taxi, please raise your hand.....

There are many holding steering jobs, only different for taxi drivers, they hold much longer per day, boatmen are needed in SIngapore water, they also hold steering, if you are willing, can go training and certify yourself, then can drive for companies like York, penguin and so on at Marina south n pasir panjang and west coast pier, just like taxis, but then, steering a boat is more excited and less holding, hopping from island to island, ship to ship. Per trip is at least $150, go hope still got fresh seafoods. Bus drivers also dun hold steering like taxi drivers, so are many others. The key here is do not expect you life to change much as a taxi drivers, many are waiting for changes that will not come, for in life, u do not wait for changes to change, you must change yourself inorder to expect changes

I used the OMO time to find my own driving pattern mah. Now found liao....dun think I need to be hirer and omo...so change lor, to maximise $$ and minimise driving hrs....

People want to change let him be lah, knn, maybe he kenna toto big big, then decided to drive more relax or maybe later, dun want to drive anymore, like you mah, tio a little bit only throw key liao, then act like miss taxi driving like this, knn, na bo ti kong poh pi you, u might be driving new merc until hei hei chuan till lorong chuan

My friend got an accident yesterday....
Someone bang from behind, 100% win....
He worry, don't know Prime got lost of income or not? he just join few months nia....
I also don't know, CDG got $100 per day (bowah say 1), don't know about Prime....
Anybody can advise?....

I ask my friend, he had reported the case....
But he told me Prime accident report was done in a small workshop located at Sin Ming, unlike CDG (he is ex CDG also).....
Nothing was mention for the lost of income unless he engage their lawyer to pursue further.....
So he was puzzle whether lost of income is auto like CDG or had to "fight" for it in his case where is 100% winning case.....
He is those kind of TD need money type, now for no reason kanna bang from behind and workshop told him need at least 1 week to repair.....
If no lost of income to supplement, he will be jiak lut liao.....

If sure win, just grab a lawyer and pursue lah. Lawyer usually get 10% of the cut plus lawyer fees, which will be payable by the losing party mah.
Prime shld have vehicle for him to drive for the time being. Many use the "babysit" facility, esp during sch holidays time.
Or be super relief lor. Got TDVL, scared no cab to drive meh??

Engaging a lawyer is a must for this case, I even recommend him a few....
But by the time claim done, maybe 3-4 months later liao....
Like I had mentioned, I myself encounter many times of accident during my stay in CDG....
Very steady 1, 100% win, $80 per day lost of income (last time hor, tia gong increase to $100 liao, courtesy of bowah), no 2nd words, credited to your bank account without delaying, if 10 days down, multiply by 10, $800, swee swee, can save a lot of fire you know.....
That's why I can understand my friend concern.....
Judging from your answer, I think Prime don't practice that....
