Of course, without "god" helping, it wouldn't be so smooth....

You simply do not understand what is a capitalism society, and to be frank, not only taxi companies are suckers, so are all companies and our belove govt running the Singapore Pte Ltd. This is capitalism, a money market society. It ecompass a few peoples, maybe 10% holding power and riches, and the rest, get exploited to the full extend, the endless exploitation of the lower poors bring about the rich to riches of the above 10% without remorse and yet using sweet talk to seduce the poors into working long hours for them is the way capitalism works. And what the lower poors can simply do is grumble to past their days, from security jobs to taxis to casket to whatever labourous jobs, you are exploited, end up what everyone can do it grumble to release the stress. And as when you thot you are earning more and maybe can move up to the upper middle class, the capitalist will further increase prices to bring you down, from rental to taxation to cost of living, this is how it works, capitalists cannot allow too much rich on the top, they must take control of your life, and that is also why...they disallow you to owe yr own taxis...simply because they do not want to you be rich, too many richs, make the richs poorer. You understand the equation?

We must be strong and determine to fight back them....
What's the point of driving a high rental taxi and ended up earn not enough to feed family????.....
My understanding of equation....poor must know how to gain rich, not to get poorer....

sonata cheapest is gd for paxs mah,pay less to travel comfortably if compare to crown
but how much they wana save,few cents different song meh?
other models high flag down but ppl still take leh,if u notice
surprise tat those die hard blue supporters never go hq make noise abt the flag down
maybe blue got a reason la that's why keep quiet at the moment,never know later got something....

Peoples takes is not because pple bother or not, because pple already get mess up with taxi fares liao, so just take lor, just like NTUC fairpirce, seng siong, giant or even cold storage, which ever near, just go and buy lah, careless smlj prices, already bo standard price liao, suka suka up one, machiam lelong

I only driven 3 types of taxi before hor.....

Just finished meeting, MDT for cdg will go on bidding system including current calls, and there will be no more auto busy, meaning calls will keep coming in unless you yourself put busy. Like this, can drive mah, why cannot. Dun because you felt betrayed by cdg once and start to put a stigma into it, i was betrayed by them too, by premier too, by smrt too, but take it as part of the learning curve, end up smart and take them on again.

Please note with effect from 16 December 2013 (Mon) at 5am, the current booking system will be changed to a Bidding System. Instead of offering the job to only 1 taxi, it will be now offered to two (2) of the nearest taxis available.
The objective of this change is to make the system simpler and achieve faster confirmation time.
Please note the following Key Changes under the new Bidding System:
1· For successful bidding, there will be an additional MDT message "You have accepted current job. Please proceed for the job!". MDT will show “On-call”
2· For unsuccessful bidding, no MDT message. MDT will show the home screen.
3· The Auto-Busy due to time out reject will be removed. Hence, you would need to change to Busy if you do not wish to receive jobs. -
So smrt London cab also jump $0.30....

This is not ridiculous lah, please lah, tell that farker blogger to read history lah, 13month started during the British colonisation of Singapore (Malaya), they also introduced tea breaks, OT and Pension, now pension become CPF,..knnccb. However, in the employment act 13th month is not a clause, it is not compulsory to pay you, if a company do not give 13 month to it employees, you cannot bring them to court, but can resign and join one that give the 13th month which is also known as Annual Variable Component is not a component base on that 48 or 52 month issue, it is variable in nature, but due to our industrial culture, most companies will do it to stay competitive whereby labour is in concern.
