Bro, Medisave only cum into picture when you start TD life leh.....
Most TD only face this Medisave problem when 1st renewing their TDVL.....
Once you clear LTA initial hurdle, taxi academy won't be looking at all this problem la, they only look at your result only.....
Remember, LTA won't gave you any reason for rejecting your application.....
My friend was rejected, guess guess guess than realised 1 of the traffic summon not settle yet, 2nd submission than approve.....
So if you decided to submit the application, make sure you have settle all kind of traffic related issue to the current date, don't waste $20 for nothing.....

I was working as a self employed and i was already contributing to medisave every year.
Total up to date i already owed medisave $11000. 2 years....
Thats why how is LTA going to ask me do to my medisave outstanding. TO CLEAR? or can i just pay by Giro just like before..

If you talking about application to LTA.....
If they reject your application, they won't tell you what's the reason.....
Even you guess and go top up your Medisave, it might or might not grant you the approval.....
Medisave only critical when you renew your TDVL for the 1st time, which is 3 years later.....
Some people can keep on tio rejection from LTA until gave up, just keep paying $20 and waste time waiting for result.....

For this, bo pian make a check on the application.....
Knn, increase to $40 liao.....
And your Medisave must be up to date.....
Meaning, if you think that your Medisave not up to date, prepare to tio rejection.....
But it stated, provided you are self employed.....

wen lta to apply,on spot kena reject after screening him
must wait 3yrs than can clear to apply

Yellow ribbon is for show only la. Even if they do hire, the hiring sector is limited. I know most of those ppl usually goes into the F&B industry to work as chef, cook...

well is a mistake in life when one has to accept it. But look on the bright side though. True that one cannot lie when submitting job application or resume. Still, i believe there are somebody out there who's willing to take in if your friend really wants to work hard.
Example, the lottery aunty...she claims she needs a helper @ her stall. Well is not about what kind of job you work, but as long you have hands and legs and willing to work is good enough. This is way better than those old uncles @ geylang got hands and legs but claim they are hungry no $ to eat. But when offer to buy food, they say they want $ only.

Oh, so nowadays must go personally to apply? Than know result on the spot? Waw piang, Goberment all link up until bo horse to run.....
Last time (again!!!!!), submit by post with check, or submit personally with cash, than go back wait for letter hor.....
Can be 1 week, 2 week, 3 week, depending how "serious" you are.....
Finally letter arrived, open up and it read, " Sorry to inform you........"

As for yellow ribbon, once you got your TDVL than go in, cum out still can drive lor.....
Than if tio before obtaining TDVL, than bo pian lor, some service sector is like that 1 la.....
Go Helping Hand la, all their movers "ang gong" liao liao 1.....

My friend tio some offence, TDVL tio suspend for 2 weeks.....
Starting today.....
So few weeks back, he go see MP, write letter and see can postpone serving the 2 weeks suspension after Chinese new year or not.....
Mr L play taichi, play ping pong, until my friend thought no hope liao, so get a super relief to dong for this 2 weeks.....
Than yesterday, he receive a phone call, saying postphone of suspension approved liao....
Knnbccb right?.....
Cannot be chao ka, tell that super relief to not drive right, ended up, he now desperate to be a super relief to drive for others.....

Suspend is LTA, not company, you still can drive after the suspension. However, company will record and may decide under their rights to not to renew contract with you after the current one ended -
Suspend and revoke is different....
If revoke, confirm must return taxi lor....
If suspend, also must depend how long, some TD even 1 week also return, some tio 6 months, still die die hang on to the taxi....

Got one buddy of mine recently also kenna suspended, but he put it in a way that he suspended LTA for 2 weeks, sound more nicer. As super relief once I got a hirer also said he dun like me, so I told him, if he dun like me, he can throw key, not me.

Dont forget the hirer can go straight to the coy to terminate your buddy from driving his taxi. Only his taxi la. But not the coy.

At time we hv to pamper our self mah, since the society is so cruel toward TDs, we must learn a way to divert such cruel treatment with our so called hypocratic thinking. End up we become more happy and smile more, and even when you smile as a TD, the public will think you r siao..that is the real fact of it

ya sometimes must go pamper yourself, cause no 1 will pamper you except yourself. haha and Screw all the ungrateful pax.
Usually most of nice pax are from CBD, that's for my case la. but for heartland, usually is like marcham get wild card like that.
I already told myself not to pick any ah-neh anywhere except CBD...bo bian la.

Maybe taxi drivers should be old, ugly and grumpy...

Maybe you taiko face, smile liao look like rapist or pirate, people see liao also scare, so keep quiet lor. Sometime, pax keep quiet, i also keep quiet lor, better concentration on road, then sometime, suddenly pax talk alot, then I start replying..then realize, knn, pax is on his/her phone..phui, make a fool
