Took the test on last Tuesday 12/11/2013, Module 1 & 2 simple common sense questions passed 90% above but failed module 3 & 4 miserably with 66% and 70% mark. Wasted too much time on few questions ended up not enough time. Learned my lesson and retake the test in afternoon, roughly know what to aim and skip uncertain answer and return if got time left.
Passed both with 90% and 96% and waited for LTA letter, yesterday received and WTH letter said collection is today morning 8.30am. Anyway less than 20mins at LTA office and got my TDVL, keep in pocket.
Still a bit clueless should start as relief driver and take some experience first before thinking to switch to this line...
Any guru pls feel free to comment and advice, millions thanks in advance. Cheers...
I guess you are holding a full time job...
Start off as part time relief maybe driving only 2 nights a week to have a feel first..
Good luck..
ya i also think to start as relief driver for a start to have the feel first, night shift i think cannot handle as I'm normal office hours. maybe try on weekend if possible, cdg or smrt will be easier for relief driver to match? as they are higher in fleet number
if you work 5 day week type of job, can try fri and sat night.. if not, try sat and sun day shift.. also good learning process...
Relief - weekends 12 shift.
Till u are confident then consider next step.
Thanks for the tips n advice, guess will need some extra effort.

End of d day, u r juz a taxi driver. No fark diffin hirer/relief, if u lay down ur pride... nothing is impossible. It's d pride tat u nid to overcome 1st... hardwork cums 2ndary
Good.
thanks for the comments, actually pride or ego not really mean much to me. put food on table for family more important than these.
Not sure whether can switch to taxi trade?
I suggest start as relief is good.
Min 6mths to see the different side.
I am a relief. Starting earn a bit but see alot. 5yrs liao still a relief, but earning more :)
Lesser commitment n stress. More off days n holidays.
