Cost of petrol for taxi.

when ppl inside this forum says that cost of petrol per day is $30.
Do they mean full day shift or half day shift?
Diesel or petrol?

Petrol & CNG maybe different rate
Diesel as of today's rate is 10km = $1.20
every km is $0.12

generally $30 can cover 200-250km.... or even 300km for new diesel cab

see? i did say no 50 no talk. 100 for 2 days is 50 what. second, like u, there was other drivers around, we all dont believe 120, then we were shown a stack of receipts, for the day before, then the day before, then the day before..the 120 is one of it but maybe its not the highest or the only 120 one -

Wat grade of petrol? Wat cab was it?
How many cabs have such big tank? Drive till empty then pump?
Possible tat morning shift drive $60, night drive $60. For wish, $60 only get abt 300km.

Anyway. When i said $30, im using it as a gauge that $30 can travel 250km....for most diesel cab...
Try to read before u jump to conclusion that i generalise $30 fuel for each driver.
12h shift drive can hit 400km is super liao. Esp day shift.

cost of petrol is variable cost depend on the distance travelled lo, look at positive side usually if you pump more petrol means you earn more also mah. unless super unlucky most the time no pax which is very unlikely...

or u drive around to run personal errands
night driving are usually one way, clock more mileage.
queuing, idling also burn fuel

But sometime u pump more because of old engine, or engine not well serviced, or never go servicing, or that your driving is super jia yew one, stop suddenly, pick up fast, whack here and there also eat lots of petrol -

$115 is before the discount right? Usually I pump full tank from the empty light on is around $98++ after discount. Can travel about 580-600km. Pump 95 for best results. 92 cheap but use too fast cos no power so step more on pedal.

When I am pumping 95...it is abt $98 after discount when pump full tank.
My hirer pump 92..so I pump 92 now and end up actually more expensive. $115 is after discount.
I just check receipt..first 3 days 95 is $97 to $101.
Last 3 days 92. $108 to 115.
