How on earth did taxi end up in Bukit Timah condo swimming pool?
A taxi ended up in the swimming pool of a Bukit Timah condominium in the early hours of this morning (Nov 10).
STOMPer Saiful and his friends noticed the cab when they looked out of the window of a condo unit.
The STOMPer says it was raining heavily at the time.
He says:
"Taxi in a swimming pool.
"Taxi drives into a condo swimming pool in Bukit Timah.
"My friends and I were partying at a friend's condo at Bukit Timah.
"It was raining heavily and we decided to call a cab, but we couldn't get one.
"When we looked out of the balcony, we saw a cab below, and later realized it was in the pool.
"We went down to take a closer look, but didn't see the driver.
"It happened at around 3am this morning."

There's a particular condo in the same area that has happened before.

Like that must compensate CDG how much?
When I collect my veh, I was told if engine lip zui...must pay $8K...

Not really, if driver did not continue to step on the fuel pedal, and all the parts in the engine bay are water tight, you will be surprise that the taxi can still start and drive off after pulling out of the pool, but if it is seawater, then, OBK liao.However, if driver still step on pedal and want drive inside the pool, then instead of air suction, water will be suck into the engine, still can be save by engine overhaul, but if driver in desparation still press the fuel pedal, then, something will give way, either conrod, piston, crankshalf or the engine casing might blow off or cracked.

The way cdg look at it base on no intention, they might give the driver one more chance. As I look at it, tho might laugh and think how silly this driver is, but on the hindsight, from a TD perspectives, I really pity and sympathize him, no drivers would want to be in such situation, hope he get over it and live happily
