Incident: Pax lost hp in car, demand Driver drive half of Sg

to return him immediately. if not he will file police report for theft and cause Driver lost of licence. the Driver ownself offer uturn go back deliver if can on meter, to be fair to him because its the Pax own mistake forget hp in car, the Driver only earning living ma..Driver got other pax in front him now. somemore the Driver estimate meter about at most 16-18 then somehow connection lost. a few mins later Call Centre call in say Pax file serious complaint Driver MUST drive back now for free if not, the Pax will immediately file police report and to LTA, now accusing the Driver steal Pax belonging. Driver then say if say until like that and still cannot on meter, then fair la he will only return to office lo, let office settle with pax themselves. The most interesting is...the HP is old thumbpress model and maybe worth less than 100. dont know outcome of pax complaint yet. when i hear this i want to :D:D

When you answer the call, indirectly you are looking forward for a reward for returning the phone or hoping that the pax will commendated you to your company....

Knn. Where got rule say must return immediately? As long as within 24 hrs, bo dai ji. I will wait until finish shift, song song then go to the furthest police station from her home and give it to the porlis.

I will proceed to the nearest ah beng HP shop and collect cash on the spot. No need troublesome. Want to report mata please go ahead. They drop HP in my taxi not I steal or rob from them.

Last one kena iphone, owner's drunk husband call to ask return, so kuai lan and no want cover cab fare so dump in npc at 130 in morning.

Actually the CDG website has stated clearly.
Customers are encouraged to pay the metered fare should they request for our taxi drivers to deliver the belonging upon recovery to their preferred address.
It's encouraged, meaning it's up to one gut feeling for the individual TD has his/her own rights to access the situation whether is it worth informing / telling the customer on the phone to pay.
But likewise, who will go through the whole hassle to go through this orgy. Must well, switch off the phone and place it at the nearest police post for the police to handle. Out of good will, just do the latter, instead of being cursed for no returning.

Pax should know that, drop handphone can call back, but what if drop other things like camera or laptop or wallet or......

At the end, still got to call taxi company LOST AND FOUND mah....
So don't be a stupid idiots, demand this, demand that....if that kind TD "happen" to pick up his call....must tell ourself amituofo lo.....

seriously lah, if pax attitude is ok, and we recover their lost item, we can do them a favour. but if in TS case, so ya ya papaya, pull out sim card, the rest is history already

There was a very nice td who returned my bb phone to me after a night out.. he called my wife and returned the phone to her as im still out drinking..but I lost my the other phone on the same night..knn.. But really appreciated that kind gesture.. therefore I had twice returned items left in my cab. One is a hp 3210..another one is a property agent tag.. one with metre on..the other foc...
