Taxi parked at polyclinic cab stand while driver goes MIA

  STOMPer Ivan was annoyed to see this taxi that was parked at a taxi stand outside Geylang East Polyclinic, while the driver was nowhere in sight.

  The STOMPer said patients from the clinic had to wait for cabs by the roadside because other taxis would not stop at at the stand.

  Said the STOMPer:

  "After visiting Geylang East Polyclinic, I saw a cab at the taxi stand right in front of the Polyclinic, without any taxi driver.

  "Because of this, other taxis didn't want to stop.

  "We patients had to go to the roadside to get a taxi.

  "To make things worse, people were jumping queue and waiting for taxis just 10 to 15 metres away.

  "So why make a taxi stand for the polyclinic?"

  If looking at the picture, got 1 private car park behind also mah.....

  Knn, private car pretend to be a taxi is worst.....

  Although is not right to park at taxi stand but still a taxi mah.....

  I hate those private car, got money buy car, no money pay car park type, than pretend they are taxi also.....

  if i see illegal parking by pte car i straight away report to LTA,let them catch these drvrs.cos when i park at double yellow lines cos urgent need to use toilet,they go and call LTA enforcement officer,just 10 mins later kena fine $70!
