Queuing at St James Power Station

always see many cabs queue outside main rd but those drive inside to the enterance grab paxs faster,any regulars queue there at night?

Q outside mostly do communication with pax, Q inside, not much way out, meaning anywhere also go liao. So if you are changing shift or intend to go somewhere, and at the same time, it is already a long nite for you, meaning you already huat abit liao, tired liao, Q outside lor.
Driver like me and hammer who like to start at 4am, will go inside..like this lor. Drivers who drove from 6 or 5pm until morning 4am, earn liao but no life and very tired liao, tends to wait outside, same goes to all night places, like CQ, OT and so on,..some cabbies slow down liao, some still chiong...like mad dogs.
At nite and early morning, bo laws liao..lols,

Inside also got queue? I seriously dunno. Always queue outside. No wonder always tio interview by pax. I usually wave them in.

Inside got 2 enterance,one lead to the food court side n the other one to pub,if not wrong barrier grace period 5mins only,that's y see some cabs go round n round

I'm always amaze by some night TD.....
Very creative....
Out of nowhere you will see 1 or 2 or 3 TD forming a queue themselves in certain unexpected area.....
Even in HDB area hor.....
1 example is the bus stop just opposite Khatib MRT station, really got to salute them.....

Sometimes not creating TS lah. Got once I park at the road side along AMK Ave 6 after Courts to smoke. About 11pm liao. Then suddenly got 3 taxi come queue behind me. Then they come ask me here wu lobang? Bo leh I just stop to smoke nia....Then they zoom off KNNBCCB....Lol

ya till now they still queue there,always see two or three die hard blues there,maybe they call themself the "Khatib MRT Siaos" lol

Bro, actually that place sometimes can get paxs one leh. There are still ppl after work from inside that area come out for cabs de.

Last time that stretch wu lobang hor, got 1 cinema there, after midnight show, can see taxi 1 dragon.....

Some night TD also very patience type.....
They roughly know this pax will board taxi around this time, this location.....
They will patiently park along road side waiting.....
Than you drive past him, he will like very scare you will know his lobang like that.....

I seriously don't know inside St James got queue and frankly I don't really like to queue unless I'm in the 2nd or 3rd in queue. With the exception of AP and after ard 10 mths OTR, I only queued at AP for 3 times only and waiting time longest 30mins (jin du lan)
Me sweeper, just like they say rubbish bin go sweep the road..

If we have gone to some other countries.....
Taxi queuing is a norm and unavoidable.....
Sg taxi si beh lucky, drive a few round nia can get pax liao.....
Try that in Shanghai China, maybe drive until Beijing also can't get a pax.....

I will queue only if I see the pax queue longer than taxi queue or at AP where the taxi queue is not that long and still moving. Don't be surprise after midnight still got paxs at certain area. Examples (after midnight between 12 - 2 am) I drop off paxs at Kranji MRT ard 1240am, saw the taxi queue ard 10 taxis. I moved on towards Upper Bukit Timah rd to Dunearn rd. Ting ting a call came in from 1 of the industrial estate in woodlands rd.... I drop off paxs just last night at Yishun MRT ard 1220am, again the queue ard 10 taxis. I moved off to Lentor towards AMK and turn in to AMK st 65 hoping see can get those working late ppl or not.. And I got 1 heading towards Outram Park. Ard AMK Mrt after midnight sure have 4 to 5 taxi queues, but I just moved to Ave 10 and sometimes can get paxs leh.. The location also play a part lah... Maybe you might say I'm lucky, I believed by moving ard I can learn the routes, think where the next place to get fare and definitely I believed luck will followed those who are hardworking. Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying those in queues are lazy but just referring to those who always say OBK all the time when most of the time they are sitting at coffee shop. Therefore, I still stick to my game plan by moving ard. Maybe I'm part timer and will normally keep ard 1 am except for Fri and Sat night. That's why I don't like to queue.

Midnight combing area by area is not wrong at all.....
But if you do that for 365 night for 10 years.....
You will just ended up queuing like the rest of the TD.....
Why? If by queueing and combing, earning is the same, why choose the difficult way?.....
Bear in mind, it apply to day driving also.....
