Which u prefer?
i feel Friday night got more impact, office crowd cum people go party, consistent crowd .
Sat night - besides special events, between 2030 - 2130 is a lull period. CBD pax weaker, only orchard, MBS can cash in.

I prefer 4-6am time slot where there is no taxi and lots of desperate pax

I don't drive night....
For day driving, everyday is the same....
High mileage to obtain same income.....

i drive on both nights and generally Sat night give me more income leh.. So i prefer Sat night.
I think there are still ppl working on Sat morning tat's why I felt the crowd on Fri night lose out to Sat night.

Than might as well don't drive taxi, he dont need money type mah, than can watch football until ki siao, morning watch Brazil league, afternoon watch Australia league, evening watch S-league

Aiyo, that one everybody also know... just for discussion only lar.. But last night quite good for me leh... even though Monday night but taking almost same same for Fri night (only 1st half of the night as I'm only doing part time)..
I believed if you are hardworking and be OTR when you should be, the earnings will come to you, regardless of which night.

As I alway said, as long as put in 8 hrs solid on the road, sure to make some good income, of course sometime not that good, but at the end of the day, give yourself a pat and said...Well done.
But if you choose to stop here, go there TCSS, go home sleep or like me, go find bak bak..then better reconsider other job.
Taxi driving is a pattern, and that pattern set demand discipline, if you break it, you tend to keep breaking it, end up more and more self excuses not to go OTR, then too bad.

my peers say night shifter makes better $ than day shifter...
but needs more patience to queue..
if u drive faithfully, u can make. its the rental thats usually making our nett income smaller

Actually driving taxi, only the start off a bit tough, becos we all start with 0 mah....
Last time (AGAINNNNNNNNNNNNNN
), I try to manage my account at such that, enough to cover 1-2 months of rental in advance......How to obtain this amount? knn not go gamble hor, is drive, drive, drive and drive lor.....
Becos as an OMOes, anything can happen anytime....
Once I piak some saving in my account which is not difficult, than you will find that, driving taxi need not be so stress....
But bowah is right, even though I had piak enough money, but daily still got to drive as per normal.....
Not knn bank got a bit of surplus, started to duan hor....
In another word, let's say you manage to piak $xxxxx amount in your bank, subsequently every month, your bank should be increasing, not decreasing hor, unless touch wood, something bad happen like fall sick.....
Is easy just talk by typing, but I can tell you is really not easy....
When you can break that barrier like me, you will understand what I meant for the above......

Hello, please change yr nick to Last Trip 666.Let just live a day at a time, this should be taxi driver life, whatever happen tomorrow, nobody can predict, and it is a stress to predict, that is why those analyst from social to finanical got so much stress in predicting the stocks, politics and economy datas.
As TD, relax, be happy, let tomorrow worry by itself, whatever happen at the moment is important, is a gift, and that is alway why it is call Present, cherish the present, enjoy it and life can be fruitful to you.

So, from the perpectives of the most here, it is absolutely perfect that they choose to take cab before the peak or midnight hrs take over.
Even if it is you or me, we will also do the same, just like my nearest food centre is a food court at shopping centre that sell $5 and above rice and mee,
so I do not mind walking a km more to get a $3 chicken rice that come with more meat too. You can call be despo or cheapo, but that is me, trying to save cost.
With that in mind, we then can better understand pax movement, way of taking and their thinking. In any business, by understanding yr customers needs and behavorial, you most likely will succeed in whatever endeavour you undertake.
