Agree i was expecting them to at least do tat since majority carry hp with cam but like u say some just NATO
ever read stories like paxs ask tds to leave if he's not picking anyone but I yet to see one

I ever saw 1 time....
This pax standing at 1st queue ask the TD to go away, but behind still got long queue of pax....
That TD came down jio him 1 to 1.....
Scolding that pax, selfish animal, behind got so many pax, why he must move away.....
Than I overheard very loudly, "You farking don't deserve to take a taxi!"....

if only one taxi n long q of pax, it reasonable that one of the pax can hop into the taxi.. which one? ask god? ask lta? drive away empty?

it all boils down to the graciousness of the ppl and society lor.
some pax in the front of queue (usually not the long long and waited long long type) will ask if any one behind wants to take......
I observed that many professionals of certain color will
1. wave the cab away if the cab location he buay gam and he is is front of queue.
2. jump to the front, shout out his location and try his luck if he is at the back of the queue.

Look gentlemen, no body owe us a living, nor does we owe anyone a living, we only owe ourselve a living, we go out early, ply tthe road, rain or shine, pick here and there, use our hands, brain and whatever we can to earn our living.
It is a therefore a dire mistake to tell people, come you drive taxis and see how? because they do not owe us a living, you take my cab, I service you, you paid for my service, I do not earn you a living too.
In another words, we should take it as we and pax are actually complimenting each other in a society that promise 2010 swiss standard and world cup but end up getting worst from so many multi culture of different peoples struggling for a mere piece of pie with an unprepared infrastructure to cope.

But the question here is taxi stand can interview? If td start to shout out locations than no need for paxs to queue just hang around n wait for the next location to be announce lol

Taxis shouting for location must hv a change shift on top, do you know that 70% pax do not see your change shift sign, they only recognise green and red.
It is not that TD want to shout, but at the ding of a crowded place, he just need to higher his volume inorder for other hear him. Mostly these TD are thicker skin than those quiet one...lols
Now, TD tends to use the word interview, what interview?? because they take it as a layman term, but in actually right you should use "communication" Therefore when too bad you are offer to go office (mine at loyang level 3), please do not use the word interview...use communication, it will more or less lighten your case./ Like if DRO asked, why you interview pax? you tell DRO, no, I only communicate with pax.
So, if I am changing shift, last pax drop at ION at 9pm, one long line cheapo pax Q there instead of Wisma, I put change shift AMK< then I raise my voice, changing shift AMK, anyone, the warden saw my change shift sign, also help out, then from the crowd, one family boarded happily.
Now, what is the productivity here? you get a pax to AMK, you save yr diesel, you earn your earning more, and most important, you happy.
Pax took your cab also happy, at least someone going to AMK can match them, they do not hv to Q
The line in Q and warden also happy, cos these TD changing shift also make an effort to reduce the Q, to ferry people out...
You see the productivity here?

bro bowah, i did that last Sunday @OG q...it was good productivity at work..td should be praised instead of punisment..even if next time it is me in the Q to take taxi..i will say a big "THANK YOU" to this td who communicated in the right place at the right time..saving time for the PUBLUC..

tio la,being thick skin better,save all the trouble,wen pax on board ask for preferred route if dunno route can ask pax to guide
if pax duwan or dunno can ask them take other taxi,if u know the route just tell the pax which way u going,but all tis must be done b4 on meter hor
but dunno y some till now like to diam diam drive than later kena fcuk for wrong way/longer route blah blah
I prefer to use "communication" for this purpose rather than use it at taxi stands lol

we go taxi stand, change shift to suburb areas bo sa la mah, we try to clear the queue....everyone happy.
win-win. knn....some pax, esp the 1st in the Q see no open. buay song. even i cant get any on the way pax, also wont pick the 1st since changing shift and location buay gum.
some TD abuse the system. keep changing shift within cbd.
haiz, these cabs shld have restricted plate lor.... only can drive within cbd.

Abusing system are actually very smart people, just like my former chief, every new system in place or even before in place, he already start to keng on how to go about exploiting it loopholes. But end up still tio pok, not so rich and eat fish porridge.
Therefore, my suggestion to brothers is simple, just drive, got pax pick, go pax at Q, go Q, got calls very near and u know the pick up place, take it,
after solid 8 hours on the road, sure to earn some good money lah,
Taxis driving is suppose to be relax, own time own target, not end up worst than working, if so, might as well go back to working life.

Simi hammer type? I only interview if TS long queue bo pax or road side got pax bo taxi. If I see taxi behind I will just skip the pax let the behind take. What if I interview road side pax buay gam how? Then I will be depriving others of a potential pax. But hor there are alot of KNNBCCB TD buay auto one. Interview liao dun take KNN I want to take also cannot.
From what I observed TD 9 out of 10 are selfish KNNBCCB bastard. Do alot of selfish act. What can't all be more auto a bit. It's like a chain reaction, you selfish then I also selfish loh....No wonder they become TD.....

I observe the younger ones still k compare to the older ones,tat day one axxhole ap queue zzz n expect ppl to wake him but non bother him,all auto overtake him,cb wana zzz go hm la

They will use this tactic.....
Put change shift "Woodlands", frankly speaking, not many people staying in Woodlands will willing to pay $30 plus dollar to go home in the peak hour, most will choose to take MRT home, if company claim must wait until 10pm hor......
So TD will go in taxi stand with this sign, very safe from enforcement, than people who want to go AMK, Sengkang, they will say cannot, some desperate pax shouting CBD area, they will say ok.....
Ever saw got 1 pax shout Woodlands, that TD ba botok, just drive off......
