single shift taxi ply 19 trips per day.
2 shifts taxi ply only 29 trips per day. earnings may be the same, but during change shift times, not enough cabs!
so what is LTA gg to do about it? Every pax thinks that its due to changing shift that caused the shortage of cabs during evening peak.

Yes, everymonth also got TD passed away, some from heart attack, some stroke, some from chronic illness, some old age and some just give up life

I'm really disturb by the stat of the yellow-top TD....
Notice every month been reducing.....
Sigh, either they 1 by 1 surrender IC liao, or return licence voluntary.....
As we know, yellow-top cabbies can't transfer or sell their ownership to 3rd party.....

Aging is a must, and as we age, our hormones and thinking changed, the older we get, the childish we become..the bell curve of life.No one lives forever, sooner or later, one must surrender IC, and that is why my casket driving licence is still intact, because for taxi driver, the road can end with no pax, but for casket driver, the road is full of body especially so with an aging population like Singapore who still thrive on stress, drinking, sex and ego at an old age.
