Anyway, Tuesday is always a lousy day for taxi driving....
Day also lousy, night also lousy....
So today will definitely be worst, because short of 1 peak hour in the morning....
Plus this morning sudden thunder storm, most people sleep or stay at home a bit later lor.....

Why Tues is a poor day for our trade? Even if it's a normal work day?
My observation
Normal weekdays / school days, many people moving around, rushing here and there.
more bookings
schools out, - about 20% less people moving around, less bookings
in between weekday PH, most take the day to rest, later half of day then go out if needed be, even lesser bookings. Since more of leisure, the urgency of needing a cab is much lower
long weekend - harder to monitor as more time available to do leisure activities. Traveling out of country, etc, less people around too, so everybody travel pattern is different
conclusion, only due to work commitments, normal day to day chores, then it's more normal crowd we can expect

Driving taxis is suppose to be a carefree job, what problem to tackle?? Unlike my other jobs like casket, ship repair, downloading of vehicle and peng bak kua at woodland industrial, there are lots of problems, because in driving taxis, roads are flexible, pax are human and mostly negotiable, but for
casket. deal with dead people
shiprepair, deal with engine (dead)
download vehicle, deal with cars (dead)
peng bak kus, deal with BQQ , fire and bak kua (dead)

Now is the middle of the month, what you expect, payday ar??? most would had spent most of their money...water level about up the nose liao, that include me. And gum gum haji fall on mid of the month, + many went oversea for a short trip, economy a bit gloomy due to USA debt problem, so what you all expect? Huat ar??

Next week, most primary schools got exams. 'O' and 'A' levels coming oso. This whole week PSLE marking, so no school for primary students. Many parents take opportunity to revise school work with kids.
But hor, yesterday I go Vivo makan around 8 pm. Super crowded leh...dunno anyone buying anything anot, but got many people.

Even you talk about A O or PSLE or taxi test, it only affect JC 2, sec 4/5, PSLE is over liao.

See if the owner dare to call back the number, don't bother track his nok via contacts.

My view might not represent the whole TD trade.....
But last time most of my kakis also agree on that.....
Even for airport, most arrival flight also won't be full, so sometime this flight suppose to queue only 15min, ended up must queue for 45min, due to lack of pax and must combine with the next arrival flight.....
Reason being, not many businessman will travel on Tuesday, is a waste, even tour group also won't set arrival date on Tuesday.....
And worst, if you want to travel also won't depart on Tuesday unless got urgent meeting.....
For taxi driving, once influence by airport pattern, like chain reaction....
Of course need not agree on my view.....

i drive 4h in morning, cant cover rental. no need tok abt fuel.
