If you do read up, it is a trained guide dog. They undergo stringent training so are well disciplined not to do things like poop in the cab.
They are possibly more obedient, and intelligent than your 15 year old reply in this thread will ever be.
Guide dogs cost more to train, than you ever will spend going through primary, secondary, JC, and attending local uni tuition costs.

If you truly want to educate everyone on the need to accept guide dogs, it doesn't help to be sarcastic.
She is quite a big dog afterall and you can't blame taxi drivers for not taking them. Some people are just scared of dogs. The Silver cab driver was wrong in being so rude about it. He should have politely turned down the request and I do not see a need to call the police.
What about the taxi driver who eventually took Esme and her mama? Shouldn't his name be mentioned like our two police officers? This would balance up the story doesn't it?
Finally, it might be helpful in future to muzzle up the dog, just for the duration of the trip.
Just curious. How do the blind hail a taxi on the street with their guide dogs if they are unable to see?
Yes, some chinese and indian drivers are also muslim, they prefer not to ferry dog. We have to respect them.
The rules is very simple, pets can be ferry, but must be caged, as for cdg, calls must also indicate that pax is carrying a pet dog or cat, if not, driver can still reject pax.

Guide dogs are train to whatever a blind need....
Most likely the dog gave the owner a cue, so the owner can wave in time....
Wonder the dog can read "change shift" location?....
I believe all these blind peoples with big dogs are also train to call their own kind of transport, from london to special vehicle.
We the TD, are not train in handling big dogs and also blind with big dogs, so much so that we like to help them, but there are things that go by the rules and regulation, any fault out of it, shall be borne by the TD.
Some pax also cheapo huan.
Took a call booking from a private estate.
When I arrived, pax was accompanied by a Alsatian.
Alsatian cannot walk.
They going to the Vet.
I declined the pax and advise him to call a pet mover (give her the number too). She say too expensive to call a pet mover.
The reason I decline is because pet is injure in spine..will be worst off if anyhow carry.
My kakis ever told me before....
Silver cab specialise in dog booking leh....
Their talkie always got page out, "pax with big dog"....
Always got cab confirm somemore....

No wonder many driver got asthma, aiya, no problem lah, as long as hirer said can, take lor, if he said cannot, then respect him lah.
After all, dog are man best friend, you rather befriend a dog for 35 years then a human who can end up betraying or back stabbing you
