Bus lanes, give-way to bus scheme extended to more areas to improve bus reliability
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will expand two measures that give buses more priority on the roads.
From the middle of October, it will begin works to add 25km of new bus lanes at 13 selected road corridors islandwide, including Sembawang Road, Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 and Bedok North Ave 3. The LTA said the roads selected have sufficiently high numbers of buses plying along them and enough traffic lanes to accommodate the implementation of new bus lanes.
The LTA will also roll out the Mandatory Give-Way to Buses scheme to another 135 bus bays from November. These measures are meant to improve the overall reliability and speeds of buses.

But a lot of time, buses need to come out from bus lane to filter, than he got to see limpek mood liao....

Ha, quite true.
but some BD very hiong one, they bigger than us, we also suck thumb
more opportunity for LTA to make $$
more congestion on normal lanes during bus lane operation hours

Is it alright to pick pax along bus lane during its operational hr?
I'm referring to the dotted yellow line portion. I seen alot cabs doing that.
If can't pick, why pax bother to stay there n flag?

It alright, but not on those red and yellow lines during operational hours, TD on the road must open eyes, doing anything you like, but dun get caught pant down.
