12XX in just one night..he say angmoh offer 50 a trip..just shoot between orchard n town now he laughing all the way liao. when i ask what if something happen, he say need be alert and smart dont be stupid la, he got secret strategy and prepare liao, anyway only a couple days so many traffic and people how know..so how everyone doing?

Too many liao, knn, whole battalion of limos from cab companies and private ones waiting at Ritz, millienium, pan pacific.. trip even to charlton hotel also flat rate 65, limpeh crown go take passenger, all looks at me like WTF, cb crown potong jalan our pax...lols, limpeh go charlton only $12, but paxs will give $20 and said,...wha, so cheap. Many ang mo paxs I took said $65 per trip very expensive, first night kenna conned, second and third nights, they slowly walk out with beer in hand better.Then later go Raffles and Q behind foolsh, Q until main road, kena chase away by warden, somemore warden ask me why I Q outside the road, limpeh told warden, I drop pax, but infront cab dun move out, I cannot move..

Take 3 on friday, 5 on saturday. Literally half hour 1 pax.
Normal earnings at end of day.
Even the ang mos coming here are getting tight with their wallets.
1st night all go the $5 stands gong gong, 2nd night all start find alternate stands

The sixth instalment of the Formula One SingTel Singapore Grand Prix has recorded the highest attendance since the inaugural 2008 race.
Organisers revealed that over 87,509 general walkabout, grandstand and hospitality patrons attended this year's edition, with a total of 262,527 visitors at the Marina Bay Street Circuit over the three-day sell-out race weekend. In 2008, crowd figures were estimated at about 100,000 for the race, 300,000 visitors for the race weekend.
The event is doing so well that organisers have already begun ticket sales for next year's race, which is tentatively slated for Sept 19-21. Three-day tickets for the Pit, Connaught, Esplanade Waterfront, Padang and Bay Grandstands are already on sale at "super early bird" prices, with significant discounts of up to 30 per cent off regular rates until Oct 31.

Until now i read the article still cannot get it. 262527 in 2013, 300000 in 2008. Where got more visitor? Should be lesser. BS!

I think what newspaper trying to say is
1) 2008 the 1st race had the most spectators
2) then 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 all cannot win 2008 attendance
3) 2013 attendance is the best since 2008
could be a few factors which newspaper never mention.
a) this year overall champion is the handsome Vettel, a lot of his fans come to see him.
b) this year concert lineup got Rihana, a very very big time star
c) notice there are many many new hotels this year, ParkRoyal Pickering, Dorsett, Carlton City, ramada, days hotel, holiday inn express, W Sentosa, Equarius and many more other hostel in Chinatown, little India. These adds up to the room supply and the price of hotels get diluted during F1, more people can come to singapore and of course, due to competition, rooms rates might have taken a beating. Used to cost $800++ per night(minimum 4 nights stay) 5 years ago. But now, I think rates is just $500++ per night (minimum 3 nights stay).
just my humble thoughts, might be true, might not be...
to me, I never liked F1, it's out of the normal, I prefer Airshow and other big shows, why? Because it's normL, wake up early, finish work early, all deals closed at 5pm, dinner and finish by 10pm or 11pm.
f1 is abnormal, knn, start work 12 -3pm, end work at 3-5am where all the pax go party after the race, party Liao then bring those Angmo high class escort back, u see Liao also cannot tahan, how to work, by the time u send them back, your bro Mari kita and you go Geyland find girls?? All the girls sleep Liao, who wait for you??

If we never host F1, I can tell you not many people will even know who is Hamilton or Massa or even Vettel....
I folllow F1 since Michael Schumacher time....
7 time Formula 1 World Champion....
Late 90s and early 2000, beside football, will also follow NBA and F1....
Than when Schumacher retire, I also retire....
But when F1 come Singapore, can't bring up my interest leh....

F1 is not a sport, it is a rich man playground and also auto bosses showing off their engines against each other.
However, there are many poors acting rich going there, and thereby, get more poorers. For a poor man like me, it is just another job creation

Just imagine The Red Bull Renault team is Manchester United, than you will understand the whole concept better....
Only for SG race, we think that is rich man game....
You know in their whole F1 calendar, in any part of other world, the crowds they have attracted can be from all walk of life, is just a sport for many....
But when it come to SG, knn becum a "Golden" sport, that's why F1 organizer love SG a lot and extend another 5 years for us.....
We, our SG goberment make until this ordinary sport like machiam our National Day.....
If I'm the chairman for F1 committee, knn, sure love SG mah....

Not only Singapore lah. The Monaco F1 oso for the rich and shameless. The super rich will sail their 400ft luxurious yatch, park by the bay and watch the race at €2, 700 per person on board their yatch.
