taxi apps for airport

  took a pax,who is also a TD,show me an app on his Samsung phone that can tell how many taxis waiting at each terminal,also the number of flights arriving at the terminals.quite useful,but when ask refuse to show me where he downloaded

  airport apps alway send you to holland...lols. but holland not bad lah.

  I think after weeks, months and years of driving a cab plying airport, without any tech or app help, you should know by your thumb when and where planes landed, which and when to go in, you should even know what type of paxs you will be getting.

  Ever saw at T1 the taxis board read

  Flight/; 108, Taxi in Q: 4

  See already, dunno want to laugh or cry.

  Plying at AP most importantly, you need to know if a flight had been cancelled or delayed, that will mostly move away from the normal schedule.

  If pax want to show off, let them be, but never ask from them anything accept, please pay the fares, thank you. That will preserve your professionalism and at the same time, hold yr status.

  If pax wanted to show off to me with an apps about taxi Q, I will tell him, you believe in this shit? day in and day out, I also know which flight you taking and where you coming from..without smlj apps

  Calculate your timing half an hour after each flight landing, than roughly you will know queueing for which flight and what kind of pax you will be expecting....

  I think to be able encrypt airport arrivals are at expert driving already. Airport experts

  i seldom go there just to q, usually is to drop pax, then q only.

  Q too long, run off asap

  For pick up at airport, afternoon is more preferred, morning hv the most departure, so many taxis end up in the Q for a few paxs coming into singapore, those cheaper flights and also those long haul flight from states or europe.
