How much you spend on 4D

i drove taxi for one year plus as a part timer My shift was Sat and Sun morning shift Gum Gum Ho these 2 days also 4D days...hehe My target then was 2XX per shift before expenses. My monthly target was 1XXX after deducting expenses. As I said earlier in another thread, Taxi Driving is all about putting more hours aka blood and sweat.... So during that one year plus as part timer TD, my heart pain when I buy 4D coz money hard to earn.. Try to limit to less than $20 per day. So one weekend I spend $40 on 4D and sometimes less... Now not driving taxi....luan tan liao...sometimes I buy $80 on sat and $50 on sun.... Any Ex-Taxi Driver here are in the same situation....

Again, as said, taxis driving is will not sweat if you hv good aircond, some TD even wears jacket...lols, as for blood, unless you cough out blood, hardly you can cut yourself in TD, however, TD do take away most of your time and brain cells + nerve and heart getting weaker.
As for your spending wise, no one can stop you, this is call opportunity cost. A person spending shall determine the economy movement in general, it all depend on how worthy you think for yourself with the money you are going to spend, be it buy 4D or go for a tour or find bak bak like me.
And then you hv to come to the term with spending power, how good and power you hv in spending also determine the economy in general, good power in spending of course give people a much grand and ability to fit the society, and that is also why people term them as the Rich.
So, judge for yourself, everytime you want to buy or do something with your money, take a time to rethink ask yourself, do I need to spend on this, or that. What are the lost and gain with my spending, be it tangible or intangible like a family dinner can also be good, the gain is of course, a happy family.

I buy 4d cos need to change $50 notes!so ,mostly i buy 2 big 2 small plus 2 ibet!i no need so much money,old alrdy cannot play women,somemore botak!wonder even any auntie interested!

Taxi income hard to earn so I spent more wisely Now....I spent more not only on 4D. Last time when driving taxi, my cig, beer, makan , 4d all covered by taxi income. so can save my normal day job salary. now...bo chun liao itchy itchy ....where is my cdg relief application form In sg, bo pain have to take on multiple jobs in order to save money sad sad

For layman like us in Sg.....
The only hope is to tio this kind of "fortune" lor....

i do agree, me as a taxi driver, money seem very big
not willing to spend $50 or $100 on anything (especially during OMO)
because, $50 is like 6-7 hours off solid driving (after deducting of cost)

This is the exact point I am trying to bring out in this thread using 4D as a example. Although I earn more last time , Taxi Driving + Day Job but I spent lesser Now earn less...but spend more...4D as an example Moral of the story...if you want to learn how to save $$$,,, go n drive taxi :) -

Agree. Before I became part time TD, I used to spend lavishly. 4D was one of them. Now as part time TD, although I can still afford to spend lavishly, I am actually more conscious of every $ I spend. Cos realised that to earn that $50 as a TD is not easy money. I therefore treasure every $ I have.
As TD, when u start engine, u are already in debt. U have to drive until u cover ur debt and make profit.

Just stick to a few set of number, enough liao....
Than make sure you check your number that you buy got come out 1st prize before or not, some number since day 1 4D started also never come out 1st prize before, this type of number can forget buying it....
Normal day just buy a bit....
Special occasion like birthday than KA KA MAO lor....

We feel this way, because everyday we collect cash....
So if you straight spent it away, tomorrow wake up, knn pocket empty, got to peng steering again, than you will feel money spent in wrong thing....
For newbies sure will encounter this especially those who got no saving....
But after a while of driving, shouldn't be in this situation again leh....
Don't forget, everyday we sure got profit 1 mah, arbo drive taxi for fark?....
Unless you got many bangali bill to pay, many creditors to settle....
Every jobs also hard work la....
