Psychic abilities

I read in a book that since women use more parts of their brain than men, they are more likely to develop psychic abilities than men. In reality, some people have strong intuition about certain stuff. This feeling is so strong, that they can second-guess the outcome of things that will happen before they happen. Thus, creating this 'psychic' ability.

Actually to this question only the word "Is" can describe it closely. The rest of the words (What, Being, Like), are useless. Even so it's not yet there. No words. No perspectives. No sides. No analysis.
Things arise on cause and conditions. So be it. All these doesn't matter.

I believe you have in-sight on meditations already. Try using Words to describe are just scratching on the surface of earth only.
There is no actually left, right or center. Our own minds created & recongnised it. Try telling birds, monkeys what's left, right & center? What do you get?
Colors are forms of vibrations. Just different spectrum (Vibrations at different frequencies of elements). That why fire burns at different temperature have different colors! If White color vibrates in red frequence what do you get? Impermanents even just colors.
Meditations let us analysis deeply what's true. Recognised what is "Just our mind being tell us" & "What's true". Even "Time" can be stop because there is no further creations no more being trap by this fake "time".
Besided meditations, other practices like loving kindness, compassion .... all are methods to strengthen our minds & clear the clouds in our own minds.
Wanted to stress Loving Kindness & Compassion is not "EMOTIONAL FEELINGS" A better description is Universal Love equally to all beings. Emotions is feelings between couple that comes with "terms".

Anyway not all supernatural powers are byproducts of jhana/concentration.
Some could be powers brought over from previous existences or aided by spiritual beings. I have privately messaged blue-mind to find out more..... -

Thanks for the great advise. I think I'm one who lack compassion... but I think for true compassion to arise one must see other's sufferings. Just like the scenes that Buddha seen that led him to renounce his worldly life. I believe these sights not only told him the need for liberation but also led to his arising of compassion. -
Chant "Ta Pei Chou" to help arise compassion.
I do this. Concentrat on the "Emotional" & "Physical" pain all beings living & non-living going thru.
Especially those non-living, they have a lot of despair feelings.

It's Fine. What I'm talking about is boastful people who try to use their supernatural powers for suspicious things.
There are many people out there who have supernatural powers. Blue-mind is not the first person I heard. I'm not saying that blue-mind is boastful.
I certainly do not consider sharing of experiences as boasting.
Sorry for my unmindful posts that led to misunderstandings. -
Anyway it is very good that Blue-mind has practised meditation. It is a good practise. Hopefully everyone can go for a course or something.

This is truly one heretic.
Through practicing the True Buddha Tantric Dharma, I have opened up my subtle channels with the winds, and filled them with light. I have reached the realm of Purity and Wisdom. Dharma Body, Light, and Pure Land may manifest anytime when there is no more attachment to any realm of illusion.
I have attained the Three Bodies and Five Wisdoms of the Tathagata.
I realize that the Ground of Being is completely unstained by any phenomenal conditions and it is the Dharma Body. Bliss Body is the manifestation of `I` without any attachments. Emanation Body is the manifestation of all phenomenal conditions.
I have also realized the Five Wisdoms: that it is totally unstained by any phenomenon (the Ultimate Ground of Being Wisdom); it is free of obstruction (the Great Round Mirror Wisdom); it reflects all aspects equally (Equality Wisdom); it reflects all Five Lights clearly without distortion (Wisdom of Profound Insight); and that, in its root condition, everything is Light and is already accomplished (All Accomplished Wisdom). -
As the artical of above, I agreed on a few mentions.
In meditation:
1) There is beings that can come & teach you. But you need to be in advance stage of meditation to understand.
2) Lights. Yes Lights. You see it not by using your physical eyes.
3) The mental body can travel. Distant & time. Forward & backwards.
4) Yes with abilities to "see" energies inside body or look into future ... others future very accurately without seeing eight character. Like projections of yourself into the others & feel his/her energy & read.
If you are lucky with beings comming to teach you of course will be faster. Bear in mind, if you don't attain it. It's not there yet & not proven yet. So don't just see see hear hear & put it as own story. Buddhood & all it's stages is attainable. -
Yes but such practitioners do not boast it in this way.
Anyway "Living Buddha Lu" is a very famous cult master.

MY jhana is depend on my mind set! It impermanent too
