Even today there are no lack of practitioners who develope psychic abilities. It is not uncommon. I have known of many buddhist teachers, masters, who have developed these supernatural powers. I shall not say Who. I have also known some Hindu Yogis who developed these supernatural powers. Psychic abilities are a side-product of Concentration, Jhanas developed from meditation.
However I have to warn everyone here not to simply trust a boastful person about his own powers. True practitioners do not usually boast about such powers even though they may possess themselves. However this is not to say that whoever you heard that possess "Supernatural powers" is false, just that the practitioner himself don't go around boasting it. (edit) [NOTE: I do not consider Blue-mind as boasting, just sharing of experiences.]
There's a danger. Just yesterday in my dharma centre, I have heard from a person who sought help from my dharma teacher.. its about a group of ppl... they have sought a person who claims that he has "surpassed the triple worlds". Some conflicts happened and bad things happened to them, they developed rashes, fall ill, and it was quite clear to them that this person who claims that he has "surpassed the triple worlds" is responsible for doing some sort of "magic" on them...
My dharma teacher replied that there are only two possibilities:
1) Such a person, his practise and cultivation has deviated from the Buddha Path and becomes "demonic".
2) Such a person, he was being possessed/given powers and aid by Gui-Shen. [Gui-Shen are spirits of better karma. But these types of beings u cannot invoke or anger them, because they are attached beings who can easily be angered. For example if u promised them something u must surely return them. Spirits have their own powers.]
If kena such things... theres nothing you can do, You create the Karmic cause, you have to take it. The best solution now for them is to keep chanting and repenting... so this karma will pass soon.
Don't let curiosity kill you.

It is absolute possible to read future, pass or even distant minds in meditations. Even non-human's mind.
All Psychic abilities are within our own mind. It's only we polish it. It shines back at us. There is no difference between our mind, a animal mind or a non-living mind. All are able to do. Need to be polish & clear off.
Into meditations, MIND must be unbased, nothing clings to it.
To read another mind or future. Don't try without permission. It's like stealing informations for another person's PC.
I would be interested to learn from you all.
Myself have been into meditations almost everynight for the pass 4yrs. 1 hr. Always meditate after chanting. Feels good. Don't dream often, but if dream can remember every detail. Body also don't get sick easily. -
Anyone of us is capable of supernatural abilities.
I myself practise meditation. I have an experience which may be meditational absorption but I am far from reaching the jhanic stage of 7th or 8th such that these powers become accesible to me. To attain supernatural powers is not a bad thing, but with the wrong intent and understandings, you will deviate from the path. Therefore Blue-mind's buddhist teacher has said that it's "dangerous".
It's good to practise meditation. But the craving for such powers is itself a distraction from your concentration, focus, mindfulness in your practise. Supernatural powers are not the aim of meditational practise. Enlightenment is. -

Yet i notice something she is into Ashura's(Demonic) practise.
I thought 'Ashura' is one of de Dhamma ProtectorS as considering a Buddhist too
I dont think She wana Nibbana in tis life time as here is House of psychic abilities.So,Thats her intention,properly!

No. I am not good in meditation.
There are many people in the internet, many of those who posted in my forum, who have better meditation practises, they also have better meditation insights.
That's why when it comes to the topic of "meditation" I would rather call some of my internet friends to help me answer. -
I don't recall knowing any "Ashuras" or "Demonic" meditational practises...

"Ashura" quality is obvious in her irregardless more or less, you & I also do have some "Ashura" qualities in us. Maybe thats what makes Everything so interesting...

The sun does not hide away. It's the clouds that blocks you from the sun. Remember the sun is always there shining for you. Too often we play out own movie, directing what's right & wrong.
It ourselves needs to clear up our own unacceptance of things/issues & the behaviour of always inputting our own views that blind us. Even you can do it, does not means you can always do you.

In meditation we are often curious of many things. Be it supernatural powers, Jhanas, etc etc. But ultimately it is enlightenment that liberates. No-self. Emptiness. So again the curious mind may ask something like...
What is being no-self like?
Actually to this question only the word "Is" can describe it closely. The rest of the words (What, Being, Like), are useless. Even so it's not yet there. No words. No perspectives. No sides. No analysis.
Things arise on cause and conditions. So be it. All these doesn't matter.

Nope. there are many good meditation courses in Singapore.
Unless you're suspicious..?
