Like the
real life Tom and Jerry, this clever little mouse got one over its much
larger cat counterpart by simply disguising itself in plain sight.
The
humorous footage from Russia shows a cat attempting to locate a mouse,
which it had presumably chased towards a car moments earlier.
Sensing
that the little rodent is nearby, the cat circles the vehicle with its
nose to the ground and ears pricked and attempts to locate it.
Meanwhile
the mouse sits on the wheel - which just happens to be the same colour
as its fur - and tries to keep as still as possible.
The cat wanders around the car for quite some time and circles the particular wheel being occupied by the mouse.
However the
mouse is prepared to bide its time and chooses to sit still instead of
attempt to run away when the cat goes underneath the car.
Eventually
the feline starts investigating the wheel, despite having looked at it
and not seen the mouse at least three times previously.
It wanders back and forwards in front of it before looking up one last time and spotting the little rodent in its hiding place.
It then rather gently leans towards it and picks it up in its mouth - the mouse seems rather content for the cat to do this.
The
video concludes with the feline wandering off with the mouse before
putting it down, as if allowing it the chance to get away again.
