Kitty Purry is the pet cat owned by Katy Perry. She makes a cameo in the I Kissed A Girl music video. Kitty Purry is also considered to be Katy's "Mascot". During Katy's shows in the Hello Katy's Tour, a large inflatable Kitty Purry head was onstage for decoration.
During multiple songs in the California Dream Tour, Kitty Purry; shown as a purple cat suit with a bejeweled heart and a red hairbow; comes out and dances with Katy during a cover of Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance. Kitty is also backstage during Meet and Greets to be included in photo the lucky fan gets with Katy.
Kitty Purry's name is a joke that makes reference to the pop singer's stage name and cats (kitty is another term for a cat and purry is a reference made to the noise a cat makes). Kitty Purry is one of Katy's 2 cats, the other being named Monkey
While Katy is on tour David Hudson (Katy's brother) looks after her.
