Neighbour's Cat Sh*t outside my house

A follow up to this issue.
I talked to my neighbours. While they are skeptical about taking cats on walks, they agreed to check my corridor every now and then to clear any mess their cat has made.
Indeed! Yesterday, in the evening period before going out for a run, I noticed a pile of shit at the same spot as always. Not wanting to create a ruckus then, I proceeded with my run as usual, and when I come back, viola! Clean spot! Gotta praise my neighbours on that one!
Not sure of how long this action will last, but for now, I can say my problems are more or less stopped.
By the way that cat was a persian breed (i think)with cream fur and a black face and blue eyes. Do not have the chance to take a picture, but perhaps I'll try to capture one!

Maybe you can leave a piece of rag or improvise a spot with disposable material like newspaper or the like for the cat to shit there. i don't know if the cat shit directly on your stepss or not but if its a spot beside not directly to the entrance maybe you can see if you and neigbhour can somehow ;train' or get the cat to do the business there on th dispabale material laid. ye if can take the photo, we see how t look it.

errrr...u can try this.... use white vinegar and listerine to wash the area where she shit then follow by applying lemon or orange oil.... u can extract them by rubbing the skin on the floor... hope it helps u...
by doing that, the vinegar take away the smell of the poop and the orange/lemon oil scent is a natural cat repellent too but it wun work on some cat like mine lol

solving her cat poop problem si one. but looking at the whole picture of teh cat is allowed to wonder, its just a matter of time it gets into trouble, or unknowlingly come face to face with one.
its better to also ask the neighbour to cat proof the house . if the cat wonders into someone who dont liek cat's home. then that will be trouble.

I tried to talk to them, but still no change, cat keep coming to my area to take a dump. What should I do ?
try spraying citrus scent or vinegar at the area ... cat have sensitive smell , will avoid it.
