i know this is for cats, but i figured this is the only animal forum that most animal lovers come to. so, i decided to post this here. Hope animal lovers can help. These dogs really need a good home.

"It was verified that Derrick and some of his friends voluntarily pooled together to buy out the 75 dogs. AVA has investigated the breeder and his premises and found no sick dogs there, which means the dogs have been moved out of the premises and into the Pet Hotel. The breeder does not seem to be in any kind of financial difficulty either
Unfortunately, this may exacerbate the situation as the breeder may then replenish his stock with the money gained and the vicious cylce continues...
If this breeder was intially reported, AVA would have been able to hold the breeder responsible for the state of the dogs and ensure they treat the dogs...
However since this is the current situation, AVA can still prosecute this breeder if the buyer ie Derrick comes forward and testifies that he bought these sick dogs from the breeder and with a vet report prove that the dogs were grossly neglected
The bottom line now is to verify firstly how many dogs are really sick, how sick they are, and what kind of treatment is needed and for them to get help. The next is to ascertain how old the dogs are in order to be able to gauge the rehomability of the dogs

Though I would really love to have a dog ard (I used to have 3 in the past) but my family have no time to look after it when we all go work and such...

can u imagine that?? the breeder just like say "i duwan to do this biz liao" n give up n neglect those poor dogs?? i mean if he's in a retail line, he can say duwan to the clothes. but its 75, or rather 80 over lives according to TNP... wtf??
in other countries, this is a case of neglect (for not bringing unwell animals to the vet) and cruelty (for just abandoning the dogs like this). this breed cld be fine and jailed. i wonder wad will local law do to him. i hope SPCA n ASD can help fight rights for the dogs n bring justice for the dogs.

N so massive some more. Train them good enough, can become foot rest. Like me golden retriever. he he

my 2nd dog is something like a page/squire...When I chase cockroaches, he will help me chase it and smack it...
When I cook water and forget, he will remind me...
When the water pipe burst, he came to notify me in the middle of the night...
When I was having fever, he came to slp by me so I wont feel so cold... (normally he while slp near my legs but when I have fever, he will slp nearer to my upper body)
When got flying insect come disturb me, he will jump and chase the insect away...
When I bring him down for walk, he ALWAYS will go act cute infront of schoolgirls >___> He's a small obedient dog so I something dun leash him...
When he did something wrong, he will hide below the chair...
When I find him sleeping on my bed when I'm not ard, he will play dead or act cute...

Man . my dogs some a bit siao eh. Maybe cause no train properly.
lol.. ur dogs cute la. Dogs with personalities. hehe.. one thing they all share the same fear... is fireworks. All barking.. howling and scratching at the main door . hahaha

I used to have a cat when I first studied overseas. N friend got a dog. The cat will always paw the dog in the face when we are not looking. hahaha
