me 3 cats one same like the girl holding but different colour. Hard to maintain long hair cat here, need constant grooming.

oni haf a lot of 'adopted' cats at 1st floor of hdb
me and mum both adores one special white pussy
maybe average every day spend abt 20 min playing wif them
another neighbour is in charge of feeding them, me in charge of keeping them occupied (in the disguise of actually keeping myself occupied

)There use to be a white stray cat that come to my doorstep everyday but since after almost 10 years ago she disappear. I search the whole neighbourhood but she just couldn't be found. She's old perhaps passed on. So I get myself another cat to keep. Then two, then three. At one time I have 15 cats. Was hell lot of fun and work! Finally gave up can't cope. Only keep 3 now. Managable.

wow how come same experience as you har? there was one time (beginning in 2005 or 2006) when very pure white female stray cat that come to my house and the 3rd floor Indian unit regularly but around last year beginning 2008 sometime she disappear. Me and mum grieved for a period cos we really believe she died. Coz before she disappeared, we found her at 2nd floor with sloggy eyes and unstoppable mucous and dirty hair (the normal signs of a cat getting sick). she disappeared shortly after that from our block
but later.. i tink last year end 2008 i found her still well and alive! she now wanders at another block and doesn't recognise me liao. before that, she recognises me and upon seeing me cling on to me like mad one. haizzz
you know about the 读� Duyi bookshop? can be found at Chinatown Point, NUH, People's Park
they import many cat books. let you know next time u can pop by and check it out. at least 6 types of different cat books i counted
juz now i passed by the one at Chinatown Point, read some cat books for around 30 min

The white cat disappear in 1997. Nice blue eyes might be a siamese. I did take a pic but I just could find it now. It will come out some day.

I find one advice from my vet very useful, if you love your cat give them fresh food. Used to be a lot of trouble with all those pet foods so after changing to fresh ration every day the cats never had any problem at all! I love my cats, I cook for my cats.

15 cats imply u live in a big house leh
my side about 3 volunteer cat food givers. 1 malay lady is provide cat food one. The other 2 (one man, one girl) cook their own food for cats.
i can oni confirm Chinatown Point Duyi got cat books at the moment. and oso until this Saturday (tomorrow), their mobile Duyi bookfair at Tanjong Pagar has cat books also.

in future, when I have a place to call my own home, shall adopt cats..
two is the max if I were to adopt..

Not really, it just get into an obsession as I didn't sterilise them and did not want to part with them. So litter after litter I kept until I had to give them all away when I had to be overseas for a year plus.
Then when I return, this white cat came, and I was happy and now I have 3. My life always have animals besides me esp cats. Dunno why but I just like them.

Majority of cat lovers don't like dog and vice versa.
Mentality there is a difference. Being a cat lovers is a giver; being a dog lover is a master. The cat owns you and you own a dog.

i read that when a human decides to strokes a cat's head, it is a 100% purely out of compassion and the unconditional love for the cat, for cat does not return a single favour in return
whereas dog-owners treat dog as what they would like their dog to treat them back
