death of romance

romance is died...nobody opens car doors anymore
before wen times were good in the 1990s still got nice romantic candlelight dinners, now everyone just chasing money and no time for all that.
so sad, maybe we should learn to be a little like the europeans, they know how to stop n smell the roses.
of course the other stuff we dont need to learn from them
life in asia is too ratrace i think..man got no more romance in them
or am i the onli one who gets treated tis way?

maybe you should post it in the chit chat or it concerns about you,you may post it in the aunt agony~ anyway,i find that both also very important,you can't live without any of them...if you have lots of money and no romance..your life will be meaningless and if you only have romance but no money..life will be suffering..
so i actually think that we people should spend time on romance and at the same time earn as much as we could~ -

the french economy is still ok n i think its a more mature economy n working environment.
my opinion is maybe one day singapore gets to be a matured economy n work place n than every one will realise the europeans got the work aspect right, that pushing it n pushing it will just lead to burn out n an unhappy life.

Our working environment does not allow us the luxury to enjoy life like our european counterparts.
Hard to see that singapore environment get changed, when the govt is pushing for more productivity and efficiency.
It is the way of life here.

Its easier to look for guys with this kind of thing build into him than to ask of him to "learn" these behaviours. And if you expect it, the guys will come around and say : "Didn't you want to be treated equally? Blah " And many things are used to justify bad behaviour or the lack of manners.
Most men, even ang moh are equally bad. Fairy tales are fairy tales.
But they are still holding on to arcade ideals/expectations of women must be gentle, sweet, femine, girlie, slim and etc. Most men cannot accept if their gf are smarter, stronger, paid more than them. Some guys spend money on you and will feel justified to expect more than your company. Others hope to latch onto a rich women for his future prospect of a easy life.
Anyways, it is more common to see girls hold the door for guys and for the guys to let doors slam into the face of the next person. Its common to find rude behaviour in the younger generation. [/list] -
