I have some vague inkling but because these fishes are newly discovered and largely undescribed, it is very hard to pinpoint especially when they all look pretty much the same but with slight differences due to locality
A lot of them don't even have a name yet

I'm extremely p*ssed at my tuition kid's maths teacher.....
Apparently he taught them algebraic equations without first teaching them the basic rules of algebra.
That is somewhat akin to making them read a French-language novel without teaching them French first. Or making a toddler run a race before he even knows how to walk.
So now I'm forced to do the teacher's job of teaching basic algebra!

you know why?
they do that because they KNOW students have tuition teachers who will teach them the basics...
they skip the basics so that they can finish the bloody syllabus..
cynical as it seems, this is what is going on in our schools now... especially the "good" schools where even if the teachers disappear for the year, the students will ace the exams
A lot of my peers have entered the teaching profession.
And seriously speaking, the vast majority of them are the lazy/irresponsible/apathetic ones who become teachers only because it is an iron rice bowl. No kidding.
The teaching profession used to be a noble calling. Not any more, though.
the parents haven't helped either...
expecting the teachers to become surrogate parents in their absence

Remind me of the question I posted sometime back while helping to solve one of my collick de daughter sec 1 question...
Most of us whip out either calculators or complex equation (later office got debate to see who is correct lol)... I asked in the forums and got a simple solution...
Seriously, I dun think sec 1 students will be able to understand the other complex solution that my other collicks gave...
