  Let's say the proportion of adult, kids, snr citizen is 45, 30, 25...

  Then 2c per journey, 4c per day, there's likely some 1m adults taking the public tpt a day... That's $20,000 a day...

  Minus off the senior citizen's fare reduction share minus off $6000?

  If my memory reminds me, that's from SMRT..

  That said, from what I read from SMRT's annual report.. One part is pretty gia nang.. Their sub business that contributes to the profit...

  Now they take on vehicle maintenance on top of their buses, duiz the poorly maintained buses, the ads, rental bla bla bla...

  You saw those MRT Stn w/ shops like at Tg Pagar? Mi thinks rental is gia si lang rate...

  I had to go back to camp this morning for an 8-click route march. In FBO. In the pouring rain.

  Then I had to rush back to campus right after outpro in my no.4 and FBO to get down to doing my experiments.

  Man, did I get a lot of odd looks from the people at the lab.

  Its hard to fathom what goes on in people's brains when they talk about "ethics". I don't wanna be evil because its sad to lose your legs at a young age.......but dont they see that they are blurring the line between personal responsability and culpability beyond your own?

  Took the train to campus.

  Changed from EW line to Circle Line at Buona Vista. One escalator was already broken down and had to be overhauled less than one week after opening. Well done.

  Then, the Circle Line train was held up at one-north. At first, we were given announcements that there would be a delay due to some train fault. Then, suddenly, we got another announcement: the train was terminating at that station itself.

  I swear, when I boarded the train, the platform display said 'HarbourFront', so it can't be one of those retarded peak hour services that terminate prematurely at one-north.

  Oh, and speaking of the platform displays, the timings shown cannot be trusted at all. I've already taken the Circle Line for several days, and the actual arrival of the train will never commensurate with whatever is being shown on the display. It can say '7 Minutes', but the train would arrive in two minutes.

  Not complaining about trains coming quickly, but if they can't even show proper timings, then what's the point of the displays?
