Oh.. There was an accident at AYE (ECP) right at the Tuas/ PIE flyover...
Dunno how on earth accident could occur over there...
And some poor chap got hit by lorry at PIE (Tuas) at the Clementi Ave 6/ Bt Batok intersect.. That place is freaking dangerous if ppl dun slow down.

today was cycling with my friends, we stood at the zebra crossing (dismounted) and waited for cars to stop to give way, so we can cross it (on foot) and push the bicycles at the same time..
guess what, all ignore us...and zip pass us at high speed...ie speed pass the zebra crossing.. 3 of us so big size and bicycles are invisible to them..!!!

Not surprising.
I don't know how many time I've almost gotten knocked down by cars while crossing the road. Never mind that I was already in the midst of crossing, or that I wasn't running, or that I had pretty much used every single rule that every pedestrian should follow.
One b*tch even blared her horn at me after I had to (literally) dive out of the way and scrape my knees against the road in the process.
Hope she dies in an accident soon.

Fudgy, as anal as some drivers can be, I don't think it's good to curse people to die in road accidents..... :) -
That b*tch nearly killed me.
I would have been killed (or at least, ended up in hospital) if I hadn't thrown myself out of the way.
And she had no reason for not seeing me. As dark as it was, I was in stark white, with reflector strips, a flashing bicycle light, and I had started crossing well before the car reached the zebra crossing. The reason for my attire was simple: I was out running at night, and I took all reasonable safety precautions. And I didn't run across the road; I walked.
And how did I know the driver was a woman? Simple; I looked at the driver as the car approached. Where possible I always try to make eye contact with drivers at zebra crossings so that I know that they actually notice me.
Then, instead of like, stopping the car and getting out to check on me, she just blared the horn and drove off.
Yes, it's not good to go around cursing people. But I have a very simple view of things: if you're a maniacal homicidal driver, then I hope you kill yourself first before you kill others.

Yeah, not good to curse her to die in accident.
Road accident is likely to involve other innocent people and would cause traffic jam and inconvenience lots of others. Should be more considerate and curse her to die in some less inconvenient and safer way for others.

One could always break the window glass or call from mobile...I suggest flying off into some ulu ulu river and then we can have some pratice with the DART Team from SCDF as well
Or we can have some divine intervention from above and watch as the car burst into flames after a terrible lightning strike from above...

Oh there are a lot of asshole drivers who just drive through the zebra crossing without giving way these days and they give you dirty looks if you want to cross the road
I don't dare to use the zebra crossing unless the car comes to a stop. Most just speed past you without caring
I don't know why they like ppl to curse them so much
