long weekend coming up!!! since i consider monday a washed out day in the office
tomorrow is polling day.. here's my take on who to vote for...
TT - no heart, no soul, tagged rightly for being the stooge the MIW put there to ensure that the CPF and GIC accounts remain opaque... clear ties with the MIW.. cannot be trusted.. uses his influence for personal gain.. not to be given a vote even if he's the last man on the planet
TCB - used to be from the MIW... supposedly voted against some issues against the orders of the whip.. too slick.. does good works outside politics... however he seems to use those things in his campaign..
TJS - can't be trusted at all, been around more than a two-bit whore.. left the sewer service in acrimony - an axe to grind.. flip flops a lot.. last seen cozying up to the useless fucker CSJ.. courting all the opposition parties like the aforementioned two-bit whore
TKL - can't be trusted.. was CEO of NTUC and NTUC isn't backing him speaks volumes of how screwed up this guy is.. no integrity when i look back at the history of his "reaching out" to the people in the interwebs when Singapore first got the 14.4kbps modems.. glorified insurance salesman...
There.. my take on them..
my vote would be the least bad of all of them.. and i can only come up with TCB..
if only there was a 5th box for "none of the above", i'd mark that in a flash
Same sentiments.
But I'm not sure if I can trust someone who just suka suka claim Temasek Holdings controls 60% of SG's GDP....
Plus he's also a bit on the frail side.
Sorely tempted to spoil vote.

I'm voting for TCB because voiding my vote is as good as voting for TT. I'd rather be able to sleep at night.
but in the end, regardless of who gets elected, we don't know what kind of president any one of them will end up being. I mean, in an alternate universe, if Ong Teng Chiong were alive and running for this PE, he'd be booed as a PAP yes-man too!
I see everyone is going for the Least Objectionable Outcome....
I'm also going for TCB too. Not because I actually wholeheartedly approve of the guy, but the alternatives are just too unacceptable for me.
TT will definitely be a yes man, while I vehemently oppose endorsing the SDP via TJS (even by proxy).
TKL doesn't strike me as one who has actually done much (or will actually do much) for Singaporeans.
TCB seems to be less likely to be a yes man, his political colours notwithstanding. And his record of actually doing good works for the average Ah Lim, Ahmad, and Muthusamy surely counts for something.
Of course, right now we won't know whether whoever gets into office would end up being a yes man or a hooligan. All I'm saying is, I'd vote for the Least Objectionable Outcome and hope for the Best Possible Future.

in other news someone commented that my glasses look a lot like TT's
Looks like TCB might actually win.
Hmmmm
But only because the rest are unpopular to the degree of chuiness.

actually I wouldn't mind having that awesome head of hair he has.
Wow looks like TCB is going to be guy
My vote is going for him too and my summary was pretty much the same as Bear's
But TJS might garner votes from the folks who are hardcore anti-PAP that they are totally blinded.
i'm hoping to leave at 6pm today since i'm basically the only one in the team today
