I fear when KTM cease to operate from Tg Pagar, it's going to pull strain onto the buses like 170. Heard quite a chunk of the riders from Tg Pagar in the evening are to JB nia.

nah .... country x would never deal with them .... they are often been accused of being mercernary but they are not stupid ... I believe they replaced country X's stuff from the MKIs to frog and south african ones on the MKMs and got thompson to do the systems integration.
we must never underestimate the northern country too .... their airforce recognizes the need for the best talents they can get, it's the only openly multi-racial one of all their services. Their first mig-29 woman fighter pilot was a chinese lady.

yeah .... so that's right ... they replaced country x stuff with frog ones .... it would never go down politically to be seen using country x's stuff, not that country x would sell it to them anyways ....
unlike our southern neighbours .... who happily bought uzis, reflex sights, soltam mortars, and took over the skyhawks that country x gave up on ...

I was pretty impressed by the up north navy during my encounters face to face in open seas.....their ships are packed with lethal weapons.
But then the sight of an Arleigh Burke at full speed is rather unforgettable.
The Yanks are not about to be shunted aside anytime soon

I heard a lot of encounters .... with both our north and south neighbour's navies, were less than friendly ... near rammings, flipping the bird at each other, mooning ..... and the like ....
it's just stuff that were mumbled about vaguely over kopi or beer with friends since they were all under ops sec ....
but it's interesting that most navy chaps, those at actually deploy and sail .... are proponents of a strong defense posture ..... I guess they get to see more things than others ...

I for one am always pushing for that....because unless you are there, you won't get to see how test-water your neighbours can get.
I still recall everytime we pass Horsbugh there's always one of our PVs on patrol and get this.....a RMN Spica-M shadowing it. At that time, we were all waiting for the ICJ verdict.
Whoever claims the Courageous was doing stupid things are stupid people themselves....they are never there to see the sacrifices of those who do their jobs while we sleep.

and we have opposition idiots who claim that a strong armed forces is unneccessary ....

many forget how upnorth kachiow usIn fact back in 1969 when we showcased e AMX on National Day, it sent shivers across upnorth for we had tanks when they didn't had any.
