oh oh oh .... speaking of crabs,
just discovered the zhi char place within walking distance of my house, behind hazel park ....
their signature salt-baked crab is out of this world !!!!!! .....
whacked it three times liao ........ shiokalicious ....
even fatumnette who doesn't like crabs loved it ...
it's good value for money too ..... the crabs are huge with good roe, and reasonable at around 42 a kilo ....

would have to wait till august though ....
address is easy .... if you remember how to get to my place ...
just walk across the park at the back of my house ... go across hazel park condo, and voila ! .. you'll see a zhi char place beside a big drain ....
be warned though .... this place is extremely popular ... you can wait up to one hour for your food .... cos they prepare everything fresh ....
the fish head curry is good, as is the herbal chicken .. but the crabs ... OOoooooo the crabs .....
they make it fresh with each order ... so for the signature salt baked crabs, be prepared to wait ...

I kept on wondering how come the Westminister bldg is on HP's labelling...
mmm... So these are the 3 lengendary ang moh sauce? A1, HP & L&P/ LP some ppl call it.

There's Henderson's as well. Unlike Worcestershire sauce it's vegetarian (doesn't use ikan bilis).
Oh, there's Branston pickle, Colman's mustard and the infamous Marmite as well. And only small companies still brew malt vinegar the traditional way, which tastes nothing like artificial Heinz.
