Around the time NeWater was released, I used to reason with my paranoid grandmother that the reservoirs already contain bird poo, dead fish, turtles and other people's litter. Even in places where tap water is hard and tastes odd, I just man up and drink it anyway.
There's proper filtration anyway...
Even my upnorth relative used to be paranoid of us drinking tap water, until I proved to them how clean our water is
Anyway, I won't be tormenting you guys with food pics for a while as I'll be back at my old workplace for the rest of this week, and going to free movie screenings thereafter.

The best tap water is still New Zealand's. It comes from glaciers and it's so good that it fails WHO's checks*.
*Because they don't add chlorine to it
Scotland's water is also very good. Not the black, peaty stuff in the lochs but the stuff that comes gushing down near the source. It's miles better than London's.
Talking abt water...
Finds Evian very 'hard' to drink

still it wouldn't hurt to boil the water

That, IMO is a massive waste of energy and fuel.
Ponder this: What happens when the water cools down? Microbes in the air and on your kettle enter and breed. If you drink straight from the tap, most of them have already been eliminated by the chlorine. Boiling doesn't get rid of sediment in the water but I'll be surprised if you find any here.
does boiling actually make solid particles dissolve into the water?
particles like aluminium the kettle is probably made of?

Water dissolves a bit of everything.
isn't aluminium linked to alzheimer's?

Yup, but it's not fully established yet. Diet, daily activities and genetics seem to play more important roles. I think Teflon's more sinister though.
Teflon is really sinister.
i've been drinking straight out of the tap for years .......
boiling water seems pretty pointless, unless you want to make a hot drink .....
