Taking a sick day today. Picked up some kind of URTI at work--started as a tickling at the back of the throat earlier in the week, then the hacking set in yesterday afternoon, and started running a temperature last night, with the coughing preventing me from getting any sleep. Currently feeling like crap...
I hate winters.

you make is sound like you're in Singapore where there's a horrific bug going around... only apart from the URTI here, you also get the runs

Nope, haven't gotten the runs yet. But knowing my luck, that'll probably happen sometime this weekend...
Someone posted earlier about the bug that's making its rounds in Singapore. Has the MoH declared it an epidemic yet? Are people starting to wear surgical masks in public, like in Japan?

i'm tough as nails.. but the staff have been dropping like flies...
and they're not skiving.. they've been coughing their guts out and i've been making them go to the doctor for medication and some rest...

been self-medicating with chinese herbal brews, vit c and lingzhi pills ..... a lot better now .... for a while I was hoicking throughout the day .....

They didn't bother to queue up. Ended up Woodlands Rd both lanes mobbed by lorries... Horning somemore.

i hate it when sick people still go to work and spread their germs. grrrrrr....i am traumatised by a train ride i took earlier this evening ard 6++ pm.
the crush is so horrible ! i was elbowed all the way ! i think i have bruises !!!

and this is a man who's got like a dozen altars installed at home .. and has resisted pressure from fatumnette to visit hers for years ....I think the catholic funeral moved him in some sublime ways ..... he's arranged for RCIA.
