you can't do that here in the tropical ..... the tor sats here have stings that will make you tear for hours ...... I know .... first hand .....
yeah... the folks' domestic help said the same thing...
but some of the rednecks did something idiotic.. they went to Europe to noodle for the Wels Catfish...
scary thing is... they succeeded!!
evening
did I tell you guys about my run in with a marine catfish a few months back ? .......
my entire arm throbbed with pain for about 3 days ......
yeah you did..
they've got a vicious sting...
i'll stick to going to a fishmonger for my fish
well, I was told I got off lucky .....
I was told those things could kill you .........
was it delicious?
oh oh.. saw the suckling pig thing at Serenity in Vivocity?
back!

Seven Eleven!!! I've been looking for you! Are you still watching K-dramas? I've watched five since the start of the new year and I'm on my 6th now!
Yup... Australia Day is a public holiday here. Most people head to the beach or organise a BBQ in their backyards on Australia Day. Since it's near the CNY and since I'm fed up with the awful, horrid and bloody rip-off bak kua (Vietnamese) we have here, I thought I'd try my hand at making bak kua and bring it to the BBQ. If all goes well with the bak kua tomorrow and I find myself with time and energy, I might get something else to prepare and bring to the BBQ.
I really can't wait for the day when I get my own apartment with a balcony / townhouse with a small backyard so I can organise my own BBQ / dinner with friends!

did you do the porky or chicken bak kua?

What have you watched recently? I think since Dec last year, I've watched Sungyukkwan Scandal, Mischievous Kiss, Fugitive Plan B, Mary Stayed Out All Night, and Bad Man.
You know what... my Mandarin has improved since I started watching K-dramas! The English subs are sometimes sooooo terrible that I've had to resort to the Mandarin subtitles to try to make sense of the plot. I refuse to switch to Mandarin dubbing because it's really lousy. As a result, I think my Mandarin has kinda improved.

Porky one! I think there isn't enough streaks of fat to make it a really good one but oh well, we make do with what we can get hold of. I didn't make it to the butcher's on time because I spent my day eating out at three different establishments with a friend today. I won't even gain weight from this because I came home, and promptly threw up and had 'intestinal evacuations' so the stomach contents had no chance to get absorbed.
Sometimes, I can understand why some folks resort to Bulimia.

I'm watching Secret Garden now! I've laughed so much watching it! I laughed a lot watching Sungyukkwan Scandal and Mary Stayed Out All Night too!
I'm watching all the dramas I can now because once my course commences, I will have no more opportunity to watch TV.
