I'll say black is better. white only looks good for weddings but you won't find it appropriate for much other ocasions.
Besides the picture looks very indian.......
Btw even if you just want to slim down for the wedding, are you sure you can maintain that kind of absurd diet for a few months?

I actually wore a Nehru collar on the second day of my wedding!
Look at my Facebook profile pic- that's a Nehru collar.
I tried to wear a white Mandarin-collared shirt underneath, but then I realized it made me look too much like a priest in vestments.
In the end I just wore an el cheapo singlet underneath.
If you want to break up the Dr Evil look, pin a flower to one side of the chest like what I did.

I don't think there's a difference.
I think it's all about the usage - jackets with that collar are Nehru, and shirts with that collar are Mandarin.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

oh in any case, e 'wind' of ppl in Johor going to RWS or MBS has weakened. Simply because the coaches are beginning to charge ticket fares (but heard it's still pretty cheap).
