He's a pretty strict instructor, definitely not one of those pay-money-sure-pass type .... navy trained, but that's what you want to become a competent diver. If you guys come as a big group you'll enjoy big group discounts.
We went through advance training together, chap's good.

And if you only go for cheap deals, then you're likely to be taught by a monkey. Which can be hazardous.
On a previous trip, I actually saw an instructor teaching his students in 5 metre deep water.....directly underneath a stationary boat's propeller!!!! My buddy was livid and made them move away. He later tracked down the guy at the resort and gave him a whitewashing.
