How many of you own an eReader? And how many are contemplating getting one 'in the near future'?
I've been eyeing the Amazon Kindle for months now. The things holding me back are the fact that textbooks and magazines are yet to jump onto the eReader platform, and colour eInk technology is not readily available yet.
I think so far, Amazon's Kindle has the best features - you are allowed to annotate and highlight text, making future reference easy. Also, Amazon has the widest range of eBooks available at the moment.
I've seen and touched the larger Kindle and Borders' Kobo but I'm really in love with the Kindle. With the price being so attractive, I might not hold out much longer.
In the meantime, I have a self-imposed embargo on purchasing fiction paperbacks. eBooks are so much cheaper!
Do you think you'll happily embrace the eReader technology? Or will you just download eReader software on an existing mobile / laptop / iPad?
