Over the last 2 months, my weight has increased from 50 to 54kg with some weight training. I'd like to think that a good part of it is lean mass + water.
Maybe that's why your weight went up too.

Lesson: if you want to lose weight, don't go to the gym.
You gotta bear in mind that you could have gained 2 kilos of muscle. That is certainly not a bad thing at all.
Sometimes I think we're focusing too much on BMI and mass when we should be focusing on body fat percentage.
The problem is, there's no cheap and simple surefire method of measuring body fat for the average Joe.
I've been using a Body Fat Formula used by the US Navy based on mass, waist size and gender.... but certainly, even that is prone to significant error.
if I wanted an accurate bodyfat measurement done, I'd just pony up the money for a session in a bodypod.
otherwise, guesstimation using the mirror and how clothing fits also work.

Yeah, I was just being facetious. I've been packing a bit on round the chest, shoulders and back and that's where it all seems to have gone, although I'm not too happy about the rate of fat loss so far. I'll just have to keep plugging on.

One of my collick who went home early last week becoz his wife is giving birth kenna a bashing in office when he comes back today...
Seems like his wife gave birth at his home becoz he couldn't rush home fast enuff as he was taking in MRT...
Apparently, this is his 3rd child and he's like super relac >_____>

knn, take MRT home when his wife giving birth?
could not get home in time before wife had to give birth?
actually think about it, if he rushed home by taxi, then rush the wife to hospital by taxi, the child could have been born in a taxi

If it were me, I'd rush home on taxi.
If her water has not broken yet, I'd rush her to the hospital on taxi.
If her water has already broken, I'd call for a non-emergency ambulance. Call me kiasu, but I'd rather have her give birth in an ambulance than a taxi.
After all, should emergency complications set in, at least a couple of paramedics are better than a taxi uncle in handling the situation....
what a farktard .......

whatever it is, no one will ever let the guy live this down
me? i'd already have a plan in place.. a route, who to call, who to activate.. all that...
@ah bear: Exactly... Everyone is flaming him now... asking why he took the MRT instead of the taxi -________-
@fudgey: I agree... A paramedic would be much better than a taxi uncle in this situation...
We're already flaming him tat day when he left his wife at home and came to work instead of admitting her in a hospital... The reason he gave was pretty facepalm... "At home more comfortable for her" was his reply...

Hmmm? She already had labour contractions before he left home for work?
