for ppl in Jurong...
There will be normal train service bet Joo Koon & Lakeside tis Sat & Sun. Tat one is not an issue.
However the Lakeside - Jurong East leg shuttle service will run at ultra slow speed.
So the entire journey time from Boon Lay to Jurong East will end up become 25 mins.

yeah... actually it isn't just tis leg.There's only normal train service bet Joo Koon & Lakeside as well (pray no train spoils, else tat's it). Bet Lakeside & Jurong East, the train would not be tat frequent either.
Furthermore if you boarded at Boon Lay and proceeding to Jurong East, you need to alight at Lakeside to switch to another train.
Tis weekend they're going to link up e 4th platform's tracks to e EWL Eastbound track system.
It's expected to take 30 mins from Joo Koon to Jurong East. Hence if you're at Jurong East/ Jurong West or Taman Jurong heading to Clementi n beyond, I suggestion better take either Bus 99, 154 or 185 to Clementi 1st.

oh crap! what about next weekend???? i'm supposed to head to bukit batok...from the east/kallang-aljuneid. maybe it's easier if i can hitch a ride or get a cab if this was the case.
