so demand is the same, supply is diminished... what do you get from economics 101?

why do i get the feeling he's doing the people a favour? With such prices, he should be glad that there are so many out there going to pay their debts for the next 25-30 years

It's definitely going to suck in the short run either way. We're doomed. But in the long run, the new rules should make things better for the younger generation, I hope. As it is, I'm glad there is now a 2 year waiting period for en-bloc attempts
