Once, I was just leaving the mosque after Friday prayers..... that little mosque on the hill opposite NUS....
A bunch of Malay nutjobs (SDP, methinks) were at the foot of the hill, yelling out to the departing worshippers to buy their newsletters, proclaiming that they were selling 'the truth'....
Sheesh, man.... how about they fulfill their religious obligations first and listen to commandments about not disturbing the peace?

the SDP is playing a very dangerous game here ..... the recruits they are taking in are the disenchanted and those who feel they were left behind by the system. And along comes a political party who let them feel they are in a different league playing a much bigger game ......

At first say want to control smuggling, so make those provision shop attain license to sell controlled prices items like flour, rice, sugar, oil and limited to 200kg per item.
So the provision shop say want to strike over e 200kg quota issue. Now e mini star i/c threaten to give e license openly to anyone - petrol koisk, convenience store, coffeeshop.
So now coffeeshop can directly buy e sugar and still able to sell to others at higher prices. More avenue to smuggle.

speaking on e side of politics.The mini stars tell ppl what they want ppl to hear.
Recently I dared to email to MOT over e long haul bus rt matter and blasted them because the current resources i.e. bus interchanges espeically e new ones are not going to handle more bus rts due to e splitting.
no one could answer me properly e complexity of e issue in reality. Telling me e decision is now not to split unless necessary.
