their country is big, so when you're enlisted you may be posted far far away from home, and not see it for quite some time. Not like here where you can book out every weekend to go home, or even every day for that matter.
and their training is a lot tougher than ours ... ours is like a boys scout camp in comparison
our boys have nothing to complain about.
