dont blame blizzard.. While they would have loved to cater to fans needs and desires by releasing starcraft 2 and diablo 3 earlier, the success of World of Warcraft just meant that everything else was to be put on hold to accomodate it. And their strategy was right in the end, and now that they know the Lore of warcraft is ending, then they're gonna release SC2.. damn, how i wish i was a shareholder..

i think they pretty much gambled on the decision that no matter how, fans and gamers will still wait for SC2.. maybe they lost a couple of customers who outgrew games, and it doesnt help that their competitiors are so inept.

What competition?I don't think for MMORPGs there is nothing that comes even close to WoW or the cult following behind SC and Diablo
I think Diablo3 will come like 8 years later now
And the customer didn't outgrow the games....real life over-whelmed them

i'm playing aeria's grand fantasia LOL... it's free and doesn't lag TAT much on my connection.... just lvled to be a paladin... except in this game a pally is a tank instead of healer... i dunnoe which is more scary, me healing or me tanking wahahahahaa

I mean WoW is now very much toned down compared to the first release
But seriously imagine a 40 men raid on an instance
The coordination and logistics and teamwork needed.
