If you're a historian or political scientist of any other flavour of bullshitter AFTER graduation, you make a name in academia by going against the flow. But not while you're a student. When I had to clear my arts elective, my poli science prof was a typical US and Israeli hating pantsy canadian liberal, those type who also smoke weed and believe in gay marriages, so I just went along his line in all my essays, I got an A, so so what if I think he's been spouting bullshit ?
I think, as a student, IF you have done your research properly and able to put up a really strong argument about why you think NTUC is not a trade union, then just do it!

i bought mascarpone, mozerella and cheddar cheese, in chunk and in flakes, loads of them... standby for either mac and cheese or lasagne, or both making on sunday :)

I would think it's more expedient to just go along the flow and keep opposing personal views to yourself. You don't know how petty the prof may be. They all claim to be apolitical and unbiased anyways ... but ......
well, it's just an elective neh ? better to concentrate the time on the core subjects .....

he's damn stingy with the receipe... however I'm now trying to make a trade with him using tiramisu...

yeah i agree.. this is more like a biased view of my own.. coupled with the fact that not many dare to speak out or write an article on them..so maybe ill take the easier way out and follow the lecturer views..
its a core module though..employment relations..

pilots are not some blue collar fellow trudging alone on $800 a month ......
they are very well paid and well looked after individuals commanding very very high pay. they are not exploited serfs, far from it. And what were the things they were fighting for ? reserved seats in first class for them to snooze in ..... what the fark ....
the chief agitator was actually a PR who was declared persona non granta soon after, good riddance ...

I think because SIA pilots are like among the lowest paid compared to international airline
But hey I think the engineers have it worse than the pilots and they don’t get a much better deal at all
