Well no one can confirm and I haven been reading the papers recently... Yahoo.com.sg listed it as female, but in the thread in CC, it's supposely to be a tranny... There's a link there to some other pic which does show she looked like typical thaigirl/tranny...Dunno who to believe though... still looking for updates...

Dang..... a paper I submitted for publication just got rejected....
There were two referees.... one of them gave his seal of approval, while the other basically tore it apart.... and this was after my two profs had already gone through it prior to submission.
So the editor told me that they couldn't publish it for now, but considering the rather interesting subject matter and the approval from one referee, they would let me edit the paper to try to satisfy the other referee before they can publish it....
Yeah, I've heard of much more horrifying rejection stories from other researchers, and at least I can still edit it.... but still, it just sucks to be rejected.....
