Well, I find that his posts are a sad reflection of the times.... there's just no sense of personal responsibility, and it's always everyone else's fault when things don't go right....
I mean, what's so hard about this case? The 'kid' was a full-grown adult who had made a conscious decision to commit a crime instead of simply saying no and reporting the smugglers to his superiors. He wasn't autistic or otherwise mentally challenged either.
In the end, life has consequence, and we have to bear the consequences of the decisions that we make. The fella made a dumb decision to commit a serious crime, and now he has to bear the severe consequences that come with it.
And, yeah, I find it scary that our future is placed in the hands of people like Atobe who can't seem to grasp such a simple concept.....

anyway, the boss is livid at the moment.. someone who wanted to visit one of our installations with his bunch of cronies did not turn up on saturday...
the story is the asshole was "called up" last minute the night before on some major ops... so he palmed everything to someone else to bring the group..
the group went to a place which was just across the road from the installation.. and "could not contact anyone" and "are disappointed that no one came to receive them"
i'm thinking.. wtf.. you are not at our location.. you say you call people but no one received the call.. the guy who was supposed to organise everything was asleep at home.. when contacted, he said he'll get back and so far until today, not a peep from him..
so.. the boss is going to go settle this..
not my business.. i did everything i could and more for the visit already.. it was the organiser who CBF'ed who should be roasted..
