in fact i dont really eat kway chap here
in my hometown, my family will order, for breakfast
yam rice, tea egg, mei cai kou rou, pig organ soup (clear one), kway chap (with assorted intestines and whatnot)
down with tie guan yin
cheap and good!!!!

You order a certain dish, and it's best to be eaten in such a way, as a whole. No point eating that dish if you're just gonna have part of it right? If I was a chef, I'd be very annoyed. :P

the only time i couldn't stomach kway chup "extras" was when i was playing with cadavers once a week in class and the intestines reminded me too much of the ones on the cadaver.... -

the best kway chup I had was actually in thailand .....
they don't come seperate ... but everything gets dumped into a big bowl and you eat it with a metal spoon ....
I have eaten my kway chup the same way since ... dump everything from the small plate into the bowl, mix in the chilli ... and stir ...
